*update* A few people that I had waiting to pay decided to back out (monitary issues) so I've got a few more of these available at this limited price. We'll extend this to say friday of next week?

OK Ken..... I'll take another one...
So send me two (2)....
I can't believe the ignorance of Members passing up this
$150.00 deal for a 10 Watt LPM..
As a matter of fact put me down for one additional
Kenometer Lite... That will make three (3)

And I sell the LaserBee I........

So you want a total of 3 of the Lites? The one you've already purchased and 2 more on top of that. Wow.

hehe should I just send you the thermopiles! LOL

No... send me 3 complete Kenometer Lites and if you feel like it
PM me a discount for 3 of them...;)

I can't believe that LPF members are not sucking them up...
They will all wake up when the lowest price fora 1 Watt LPM
is $300.00 or more.....

I can't wait for a member to ask if it is possible to make a
1 Watt LPM for less than $100.00....:crackup::crackup:

Its not the gift , i think its the lack of funds for most people, that's the problem.

General Kenometer question Kenom, How often or do these need to be recalibrated and is that something one can do?

Well the Kenometer pros will be calibrated against a Coherent powermax.

The Kenolites however are calibrated against my personal Kenometer which has been compared to a meter capable of accurately seeing 1uW at novalasers. This sadly is not something that can be done personally unless you have a setup like laserbees with a 1W resistor setup on a heatsink to approximate 1 Watt worth of heat. You could probably make that setup when you first get the meter and make sure that it's right on 1W then set it aside and if it ever starts to stray, you could fire up the resistor and do some tweaking.

Honestly I think it would take a good long time before these start to need calibration. Heck I donno how many meters I've found on ebay that are over 20 years old and are still spot on. It's only when the electronics involved start to degrade as a result of time and heat that the calibration ends up needing adjustment.

Hey Ken PM me... you have lost me in the dusts
With those quotes....;)

Laserbee the quotes weren't price estimates for you but a listing of the value of the meter relative to if you bought the thermopile new.
