Check your PMs. I sent you one regarding purchasing one of these. I don't know if you'll accept my terms, and if you don't it's fine, but a response of some sort would be nice. I need a decent meter to finish up a couple of reviews, and apparently I no longer have access to the lab that I was going to for the purposes of using a meter before.

Think i will probably buy your full version and sell my laser bee now that i have my review done......
what type of accuracy do you think you get from these?

OMG, you should hear the plans for the Pro version! I want one so bad! Ken is still working on it.

The accuracy will be the same as the lite version, which is very accurate. Ken might be able to give you an actual percent, I dunno.

The lite version is ready now. I am building to order.

The pro version, I hope to have completed by the end of January.

I'd be getting one, but the shipping of a fragile like that will cost a fortune to get to Australia.

actually not really. Shipping to australia (and it's not that fragile) is about $20

Updated this offer. The purpose is to raise funds for development and once that goal is achieved this offer will terminate I will give a few days heads up once that goal is reached.

Hey Ken...

how come it only costs $20.00 to ship to the other side of the Globe
to Australia... and it costs $30.00 to Canada.. on the same Continent...

Or am I getting special shipping....:thinking:

When I ship to the USA I can do it for about $35.00 but Australia
costs me $65.00 (of course Ins is included in both cases)...
Just curious...

sorry went back and did another quote and it's $35 for priority to australia. I thought that looked a mite cheap. Sorry for the confusion laserbee

Let me spell out what the Kenometer lite is. Imagine the old Kenometers. True thermopile sensor, led display indicating power of your laser in mw. Operates off of 120-240Vac. Now make it a little smaller. That is the Kenometer Lite.

I have 1 question though. With the Lite versions smaller enclosure size will the upgrade fit when you have the pro version developed?

Yes. Since the newer microcontroller is going to essentially be similair to the laserbee in size, it will be easy to put in a small enclosure
However since the graphical display will be larger some modifications may be necessary. If it's not possible to fit into the same enclosure, then it would just be a matter of sending in your old one, or putting together a kit, that can be sent out, that will include everything you need to "upgrade" This will be cheaper as the most expensive component the sensor will already be in your hands. Plus yours could be hand delivered since you live so close!

Wow, the response to this offer has been stellar and based on it's interest, I should see the development of the Pro here very soon. I want to thank everyone for their interest. It's still available for the time being as I've still got some pending interests, but it looks like very soon it may be.
