One last thing for those that didn't get a wallwart with your meters, I do apologize. The wallwarts I purchased for this were wonky, and were causing issues with the meters. As such, I've literally tossed those (over $30 in wallwarts) and am shipping these out without a wallwart. All you need is a typical 9-12vdc power in. There is a voltage regulator inside that will reduce the voltage to teh needed voltage.

Works for Me. All I need it the polarity???My thrift shop has 4 five gallon buckets of various wallwarts. I will find a good one for free. Any one needing some for any project can PM me. You pay shipping only.--HZ

oh I'm sorry. the one I was using was 1A but it will take higher. You can also run it up to 18v if you can't find anything in the 9v-12v range. I would recommend lower as the lm7805 does get hot and the more current and voltage you feed it the hotter it will get. Which of course will skew the readings of the thermopile just a little bit.

I would recommend anythhing from 500ma-1A

Hey Ken- I am having some probs w/my PC- no PMs-no attachments- and I cannot open your spreadsheet now either--I am guessing its is my IE. Wanted to see if my meters have shipped--thanks for the update-Len

sorry I havn't worked on the most recent meters for a few days. I've been down sick in bed for teh last 30 hours and I'm waiting for the new wallwarts I ordered to arrive (should be here tomorrow)

I got wallwarts 'a plenty- plz ship mine without- all i need is the polarity of the plug---Len= ps thanks seb for the update--
