Hey Kenom--whats the word??? I just got a 200mW green module for review and my meter does not go that high-SPER pocket lpm-Will I be able to measure it with the Ken-o-Lite(s)?--soon? plz let me know --thanks --HZ

my radio shack has not had any plastic enclosures in stock for the last 3 weeks. I have ordered some and am waiting for them to arrive. Other than that, all the components are assembled and waiting to go into the boxes.

I have a hard time finding the right enclosure on digikey. Needless to say I took a road trip to go visit SightFX and stopped at his radio shack and have a few enclosures to finish a few of these. Meanwhile, I've ordered already teh enclosures I needed and they should be here soon.

Could everyone that purchased one of these meters from me send me an pm detailing exactly what it was that you got. I had so many after the order requests that I'm having a hard time figuring out what is what. Any special requests. I will spend all day tomorrow building all of these and I need to know what special work needs to be done.

I will also be going back through my paypal history and sending everyone an email as well. I want to get this all done tomorrow and I know you are all anxious to get your meters. Again I apologize for the delays.

Got mine just after Xmas... all is fine except for the mechanical
assembly problems I PMed you about... We can get to that
after your assembly rush...;)

BTW... I'm re-enclosing one of them into a LaserBee I enclosure...:yh:

Could I get an aluminum enclosure on mine?

Edit: Nevermind, I'll stay with the plastic enclosure.

I just checked the spreadsheet....

I was under the impression that the Lite model did not/could not
have a Zero Offset... (mine don't)..
Did I miss something...:thinking:

If there is a way of adding the Zero Offset to the Lite version...
could I get the info to modify my Lites...

The Kenometer Lites that I have do not stabilize at an exactly Zero
reading (without a Laser beam on the Sensor)... depending on the
differential temperature between the sensor surface and the sensor
heatsink...
So ii your reading is.. let's say 3mW with out a beam and 127mW
with the Laser's beam on the sensor then the actual power of your
Laser is 127-3=124mW...

With a Zero Offset circuit you can re-zero the "3mW" reading back
to Zero before taking a reading of your Laser...

But I'm not sur if this is possible with the Kenometer Lite...
