UPDATE -- Ti-B 532/100mW 2.0 IS COMING
and A LIMITED EDITION OF TI-B 532/150mW- (total made of 100mW & 150mW -- 50 pcs{combined} - these take 16650 battery- I have many FS,)

Same on the outside- bigger battery inside-- PM for serious buyers

Hello all at LPF- Hak sends his best wishes to all for a super day and a wonderful 2013.

...... I am getting down to the last of the JETLASER Titanium 532/100s..
So far I have gotten 9 out of 10 rating or better by all who own one. The only negs were how sharp the attack crown is TOO SHARP(duh.. can it be TOO sharp when it comes to self defence??... AND that was also reviewed as a plus by a few) and the unique tailcap switch.
And like the crown, the unique tailcap constant /momentary switch got high marks from some saying that it would prolly NEVER stop working due to its design. Others wanted a side clicky but we can't always please everyone..

See below a typical graph- this laser is very stable and has a nice divergance and a thin beam. Due to its small size and the not-so-great heatsinking ability for titanium ( it has an Al HS inside) it should be used with a 3 min on and a rest of 1 min. Longer duty may be no problem but IMO its best to be as kind to our lasers as we can. Having a choice of 532 modules to use for this TI, JL choose this one for its stable and thin beam and its proven lifespan.

If you need a place to spend that $$ you got as a gift this, IMHO, would not be a bad choice. ATM I have no 14500s or chargers in stock- so until I get more the price is for the laser and CONUS shipping included ..ONLY.. at $190. Like all JLs its IR filtered, has reverse polarity protection and comes with the best warranty in the biz, not to mention the incredible customer support & service by our dear friend Gray.

Lots of pics and several reviews are posted on this one-of-a-kind laser.

AFAIK every one already out there is working just like they did on day one.

I take personal checks, USPS MOs and Poopal.

Ships asap and I am willing to send worldwide , but all risk of seizure ,VAT, any other taxes/duties, laser laws... etc will be on the buyer. For non CONUS I will use the shipper of your choice. You will need to sign for delivery.

PP buyers must add 4% and know that as PP does not allow use of their services for lasers over 5mW you will not be able to use the word 'laser' anywhere at PP nor will you be able to recover your payment from PP should a claim be filed. Most likely both of us will be suspended from using PP thus there will be NO winner in such a dispute.

All buyers get a LPM graph BEFORE I ship.

I have one in stock and the last few are on the way to me in Texas.
Local pickup is free and comes with one ice cold beer.

AFAIK there will be no more TI-Bs made.

Due to so many requests...
There is a CHANCE that JL may come up with a new titanium laser in 2013- perhaps less fancy but at a slightly lower price. Hopefully we will be offered more wavelengths.
A matched set of R/G/B and BR Tis would be sweet to own and surely a super addition to any laser collection. Please PM me for any ideas on new lasers you would like to see offered by JL.

best wishes for a great 2013,

hak

Re: Last chance (AFAIK) forever on JL Ti-B 532/100 TITANIUM

From my notes...

New TIB (Last GB)

Peak 152mW. Stable at 140mW. IR content at ~6mW. VERY stable.

Original TIB (Second to last GB.)

Peak 352mW!!! Stable at 280mW. IR content at ~50mW - NOT IR FILTERED.

I'm really tempted to get another one :)

Yeah G-- I thought about that too- for now you would be doing that solely at your own risk- personally I would PM gray from the forum to find out BEFORE you take the risk- IMO you will not get more mW just a longer run time before needing to recharge-and if you did remove the white sleeve what would you use your 14500 battery for?

Very cool lasers, I was thinking about buying a krypton 330mW average (LMPed)
But since this is is JL I might have to change my mind... I hate decisions! :toilet:

They would never go to waste. I have three flashlights that use 14500 batteries.

Just kind of annoying that the newer batteries from keeppower and orbtronic - protected - don't really fit. They are too thick. Unprotected, and AW protected fit fine.

Pretty sure the sleeve is glue in place... I don't think I will be messing with it.

ADDED INFO-- the 16650-s not only thicker but also longer so chek with Gray (username JETLASERS)

well if you go only by rep-- WL loses to almost every laser seller in the world and the opposite is true about JL- they have the best rep going and always will-

I will be sure to save you one- repeat buyers get red carpet treatment form JL..and our most fav buyers get even more- several have gotten free upgrades-- thats my idea of VIP treatment--
