Yes, but just before the forum went down, he still hadn't said he received it. Plus we don't even know it it's a good meter, it needs to get compared and calibrated with a proper LPM.

i will post my findings on different power meters soon. And repost my thread here about all I learned about PS3 diodes thread that got lost during forum being down.

I will also edit this thread title tomorrow morning as we came to some kind of an agreement. Tonight it is what it is.

No - he got ripped on his auction "booty" ! LOL This kinda goes to show you how little some folks care to do ANYTHING for themselves - had he READ this forum a little bit, he would have seen that the moron he bought that power meter from is a scamming rip off artist who sells fake crap. "Calibrated" 120mw power meters - consists of a photdiode, a few resistors, and a hell of a lot of guesswork. I wish him the best in his endeavors - but had he even bothered to check up on that freaking idiot on Fleabay, he would have seen that he is a fake, and a wannabe, period. And more to the point - he JUST BOUGHT THAT "meter". He has been "estimating" the powers of his lasers. Geesh - wake the freak up people.

I have seen ONE reply from Jake21 in this whole damned thread - Glaserfan, if you are using that alias and are actually Jake21, you would be better off just posting as Jake, rather than being his sock puppet.

SenKat - He didn't buy one of the crappy ones, he bought one of these, I don't know if laserbee makes them or if he bought it form the guy who makes them and messed it up or something. We'll see how it turns out if he wants to send it to someone on the forum with a power meter for testing.

Chido ya, I know - it's the same scamming seller, with a different product. It looks astonishingly similar to the "Die4thing" meter, I dunno if that TEC he used is gonna be as accurate or not - someone with a thermal meter should do the comparison for Jake21 - like I said, do a search - Kenom bought one of his his other "meters" and when he sent an email with questions, the guy cussed him out, and flamed him with negative feedback on ebay ! This guy is a real class act IIRC.

Yeah, Kenom posted about that before the forum went down and also said it looked like the die4thing power meter. He even offered himself to test the power meter when jake gets it. (don't know it that's still happening)
Some guy with the user name "laserguys" typed a post telling jake not to send the laser to Kenom since he was biased against laserbee's meters. Then I posted back saying Kenom bought one of the meters and concluded it was crap. I'm saying this because the possibility of him being laserbee crossed my mind. He pmed me saying the meter was really good and that Kenom was hurting people's feelings (people who owned these meters) by saying laserbee's meters were crap. I pmed him back saying how he could say it was a good meter and asking if he had it compared to a proper LPM, I haven't heard a response from him since. :
