About five years ago, my friend found a laser pointer that he loved in a local general store. It came with about five caps, but by far his favorite was the "middle finger" laser head. So yes, when he pointed the laser, an image a hand pointing its middle finger came out. Unfortunately, the store eventually sold out, and his battery died out (it wasn't a very good battery anyway). He couldn't find another battery, so I think he eventually tossed it out. Anyway, as crude as it sounds, I thought this would be a great Christmas gift for him this year if I could find one. No luck on ebay, froogle, or amazon...does anybody know where I can buy one? I'd prefer if it was powered by AAA batteries, but if it is possible to find replacement batteries for it that's fine too.

If anyone here knows where I can get the pattern head and a compatible laser for it, I'd appreciate it.

If you have one you're willing to sell me, please post some pictures to make sure it's what I'm looking for and your asking price. I can pay for it via PayPal.

You can get a 1mw red one with a few heads in some small shops here in England. I used to have one I bought from lamberts but any small little shop usually have them.

They don't have the middle finger one but they have a star, thumb up, smiley face... there are a few more but I cant remember at the moment.

there is an adult shop here in town that sells two different laser pointers with 5 heads in each. One of those sets comes with a hand with the middle finger extended. the rest of them are just crude sayings. I can get the whole thing for $9.99

Kenom, do you have PayPal? That sounds exactly like the kind of thing he'd like. If you can find out how much shipping would be to the Chicago area (ZIP code 60187), I'd happily reimburse you for that, plus a little extra for the trouble.

Also, what batteries do those run on? Like I said before, I'd prefer one that ran on AAA or a battery that is easily replaceable.

unfortunetly the laser itself works on button cells. but you can buy them in bulk pretty cheap on ebay. Shipping for the laser pointer to chicago would run no more than $5. you can paypal me at kenkassidy@hotmail.com
