Edit: Only opened model left, asking 275 shipped. Has been used less than 10 minutes. Seems to maintain a circle most of the time, though I have spotted the infamous rectangle at times. I have not been able to check its spread at distance but it does seem to have some.
I'll be including the glasses + charger. the glasses will be unopened. I have 2 pairs of opened glasses I'd sell for 20$ each also.

I would prefer to sell through ebay or a middle man from this forum for both of our safety.

Re: Artic s3 g1 model unopened

I doubt you're going to sell the G1 for more than the price the price of the G2, especially on this forum, but who knows maybe someone really wants one.

You´re lying by saying that

this listing is for the NEW wicked laser arctic <1.25w laser

Edit: you would be able to write down <5W, it is all the same

Re: Artic s3 g1 model unopened

I thought it was against e-bay rules to sell lasers over 5mW. Similarly paypal I think has the same regulation

Re: Artic s3 g1 model unopened

you can still buy >5mw lasers with the paypal system, although i believe their "official" stance is you cannot. The only way they could enforce this, however, would be to ban payments to china as I expect there are many ways around it when you're in china .

Also 1.25mW would be appropriate if he in the unlikely circumstance got an over spec one, however, you would need to test it to determine this, and therefore would have to open it

Not really, if you had gotten one you would know wicked claims its power is <1.25w on the packaging and sticker. btw it sold, I'm still selling the used one.

And I was selling this for only 6$ more than wickeds price. if you ordered a month ago for 200, understandable. for someone whos ordering now? auction was an obvious choice for g1.

We all know that Wicked Laser claims and statements
are lies....:cryyy:

Have you tested it yourself... Was it 1.25 Watts..
If the answer to any of the 2 questions was NO...
then you are an accomplice to the WL Lies... IMO

Apparently someone doesn't know that the "<" sign means.

Neither wicked nor I claimed it was going to be 1.25w, they claimed <1.25w. I am asking to use a middle man, if you need a test just ask. But dont be unreasonable and expect it to be 1.25w on the dot. Most of these are probably 800mw-1.1w

I'm not going to decrease the value on an unopened product by opening it to test it, you have a gripe.. take it up with wicked. not me. if you want the used one testing can be arranged. I do not have the means to test it myself.

You are correct... <1.25 Watts can mean 100mW and still be true...
My apologies...

Yeah... I would like to see an actual power test result on your
Laser using a calibrated LPM to guarantee it's output power...
since you are offering to do one...

DPSS lasers mode hop. This one does not.

The output is rectangular, all the time. If you thought you were seeing a circle, you were mistaken.

Try and do your research, there are many posts and videos with proof this does maintain a circle. Sometimes it is also a rectangle (Or always if you get unlucky)

YouTube - Green And Blue LASER BeamWalking.mov heres a video from a different thread.

Referring to this thread?

http://laserpointerforums.com/f65/arctic-forming-rectangular-shape-53740.html

The real test comes in when you take a beam profile at range (~50m) - I'd bet serious money that even the "round" output becomes a rectangle. ;)

I just watched the Video you linked to...
I don't see an Arctic round Beam Profile...
I see a camera image being washed out by the brightness
of the blue beam and causing a circular glow...

This is the Beam Profile of the Arctic.... actually taken by a Member
here of his own Arctic....

Arctic12.jpg

It is very far from being round......

You are right though.... someone does need to do some research...

This is my last post in this thread as some asshat mod thought it would be funny to rename the title so It wont even sell. I said some arctics are rectangular, some are circular, Some change. this has been documented. None are perfect circles at long range, but some are MUCH MUCH better than others, or diy builds for that matter. the first time I started mine up, it looked much like that picture, but since then it has changed to being circular almost every time.

There was a thread about the cni lasers where someone asked CNI and they said they do change modes depending on power output.

The only way to see the true focused beam profile is through
Laser Safety Googles for the 445nm wavelength...

Take a picture of your Arctics Beam profile on a wall at least
20-30 feet away taken through a Safety Goggle lens... then post
it here...
I would be interested to see your Arctic's beam profile
to see the difference..

Here is another Review of an Actic by Daguin with more beam profile pics....

By the way.... showing disrespect for the Mods or Administration
will easily lead to a Time Out if not a Perm-Ban...

You can easily Re-Name your Thread using the [Edit] Button on the
first post and clicking [Go Advanced]....
