Howdy All well there is a new part in the inventory made for them hard to ground laser builds, it's simple and very effective.
So most of the time I like to use the 3rd pin or the ground pin on laser diodes to ground the driver on the power side but
there is not always a 3rd pin so some other method must be used, a lot of the time there is a brass ring in the pill for
grounding but again not always.
So I came up with this method and it works great and gives a good solid ground, it's a Aixiz back half cut down on the
lathe and then I remove the chrome and soldered on a silicone insulated lead.
These are only $4.00 each and can save a lot of frustration.
