One of the problems is that Purplefrogger is also trying to use Jayrob to gain credibility. Has Jayrob reviewed any of his bluray modules?

Well it seems they are both 2 different people, and pretty sure its not Tyler. Anything else and we will have to wait and see.

I posted an honest review of my initial findings...

I am waiting for that next module that I ordered. (hope it's a nice one!)

I have not...

But I got a PM from him tonight to ask if I would check one.

I don't mind taking a look at one. But I asked him what the components are?? What driver and setting, etc...

Edit: Hmmm... just took a look at his e-bay add. Man I don't know about that price at LPF...

Just being honest if your reading this purplefrogger7... But most people here at LPF know how to build better set up's for cheaper.

It's different with the green modules. Because those are very reasonably priced for the output power...

Purplefroger does not actually state that you endorse his business or modules. However, by featuring your name and website so boldly in his eBay auction, readers will associate your reputation with his. He is "borrowing" your credibility.

I guess he must have borrowed the heatsink that I sent to nexbox360...

I mean... I don't mind a link to my kit threads here on LPF, but it's not like I use his blu-ray module or anything...

That's because human communication is my job.

Your job is being one hell of a fabricator and supplying quality hosts and heat sinks to the laser community.

This will all shake out over time.

I told shaun or purplefrogger to use the link to the heatsink for his modules to help get jayrob a couple customers or cases if they need them. As far as his B/S/T section I was unaware myself until yesterday that he coppied my stufe from my thread and posted it in his yes I can see why you would find that odd or off...... the ebay page I helped him make it real fast at a friends house and yes I let him copy and paste stuff from my listing to his listing.
As far as the modules being to expensive for him to sell is there anything else he could purchase that you guys might be inerested in? I'm trying to help him get a smal thing going like I have but so far no good.


I'm not sure how much longer I will continue selling these but as long as I don't get behind on pre orders I should be fine keeping up with the daily buiness. However school comes first and if I don't have the tine sales will have to come to a stop for awhile.

The $70 sale still remains so please buy them while you can.

Well... My module should be in the mail when I get home. I need to know how much voltage to feed it. I know 3 volts, but can I not go over that, would it be a bad idea to hook it up to two AA? How about 3?

I received my laser module in the mail today. I did not measure the power but with 2 AA batteries I get a skinny green laser beam and it is bright enough to easily see in a lit room. I am very happy with my purchase.

USE 2 AA BATTS, 3 would be 4.5 v. 3 bad idea.

my module came in today. 2 days shipping, gotta love not buying from the chinese. I put in the green diy host from jayrob and it works great. very skinny beam. Im waiting until it gets dark then ill post some beam shots

Ok i received my module today nicely packaged ,wife is still popping all the bubble wrap have fun baby.Module had a post a note wrapped around it that said 191mw peak 180mw resting.this is my strongest laser thus far and will go into a kryton groove i got from dave awhile back, if jayrob will still kit it for me. This puts my o-like 100mw to shame but it should. Man this has been a ride for nexbox , what would Brando say"OH THE DRAMA OF IT ALL"
