Yessssss ,I received mine yesterday and it Kicks A##!!!! Power output off of 3v alkaline=192 mW after 10 seconds of juice. I have it in a .25 inch thick aluminun heat sink. The heat sink gets warm but not hot. This module burns black tape instantly and stings the skin!
Someone acknowledged,(you know who you are!) that EBAYZER lasers are crap!
Well go suck on some green! You Radio Hack laser lover!.......AAAAAAAHHHAAAAA!!!!!!

Hey jayrob, have you possibly bypassed the driver on any of these, maybe done an L-I curve using a bench supply?

Or thought about doing it?

i wish i had a LPM to test mine. Also, is it safe to use one of those compressed air can dusters to clean the lense?

I have not messed with the driver.

I wouldn't mind doing something like that if I had a nice bench supply...

Wow I didn't think you guys would get them that fast I'm glad to see all the positive reviews.
As for the dirty lense I use a q-tip to clean it in a circular motion there is definetly something on the lense.

This is my finished laser, the tritium adds a nice touch. The beam is thin and powerful, but it does hve a circular splash. just wondering if thats normal. This is my fist picture upload so it hope it works

I made this video real quick so everyone can see what we have been getting in the mail. Unfortunately I asked NexBox to send the module without waiting for the power test, I didn't realize the difference would have only been a day...if that:banghead:. Well I guess that gives me an excuse to try and use the one at the school. I am very curious as to what this is outputting. How does it compare to all of yours? I have no other greens to compare it to except for my 5mW green pointer, and it is certainly brighter then that.

For an embedded youtube video, just put yt and /yt in brackets, and inbetween them put the video tag that you see in the url of the youtube page. Not the whole url, just the video id tag. So your video is like this, and you can hit quote to see how I typed it to make it work if you need.

Try a black tip, use a sharpie. It dosent look that bright, but you cant tell until you put it to a LPM. There are a few member that can test it for you. Just ask around.

in my video the matches I used had red tips, it takes a few seconds for them to light up. After I made the vid I drew black dots on a few and they lit up much quicker.
