I was under the impression that green was more expensive than red, due to being tougher to make. I have no 1st hand knowledge but I see people selling 300 mw red DIY's for 210 dollars, but I dont see any greens even DIY at all for sale, has to be a reason for that.

+ how often do DX lasers come underpowered?

Well that green I bought was 5.5x more expensive than the DX200 Red.

I just want to say just few word about Susie's module :
I  bought 3 green@5mW at a price that can't be beat anywhere.
2 of 3 produce a bright beam at 3 Volt, the last is very weak (i will try to mess with the pot or moving the diode)
If i raise current to 4 volt (and more..) the weak produce a bright beam like the other which are MORE powerful at higher voltage.
The design of module can be improved ( a lot of screwing remain a the top of the module, but not a problem with a saw).
For packaging, i will add some buble wrap or anything around the module to prevent shipping damage , it would be perfect !.
In conclusion, im very satisfied with Aconsen's module and i will buy few more, and im happy to have her with us, she's a nice seller for our mod !
I know that electron's problem will resolve, but im a little disappointed when i read some member's post about Sandstone.

I am equally dissapointed with what I have read here and on electrons other thread.

@ Suzie, I had a good experience buying from you and recommended you to others, but this issue of the underpowered green laser needs to be sorted now. No one on this forum would be happy to receive a "200mw green" laser that was actually 80mw green and 120mw IR, that is not how it is done!
(in this case even the combined wavelenths got nowhere near the stated output).

In e-mails to electron you have clearly stated that the 200mw is the sum of all wavelengths, did you tell him that when you quoted the price for him? If you didn't make that clear you miss-sold the laser as it is in fact an 80mw laser.

This forum is visited by more than 1,000 guests and hundreds of active members a day many are looking to buy lasers, as it seems that ebay may not be an option for much longer, this is potentially your shop window for international sales. DONT SCREW IT UP!

She NEVER told me anything about IR until after the Laser arrived and I emailed her about the ridiculously low readings I got.
So I would imagine a 532nm module sold @ 30mw's would really only be about 12-15mw's of 532nm's, the rest would be IR.

I'd also like to point out she's had the returned Laser in her hands now for 4 days, and hasn't even bothered to let me know it arrived.
Nor has she replied to my email or PM; "great" service all the way around I got to say.

a few questions for people who have used these modules and also my experience.

i got the modules very nicely packaged and i ordered the 40-50mw units from you. one thing i noticed is i put them to my meter and got about 25mw's for both of them so i adjusted the pot and got over 60mw but i think these should be set at the 40-50 without needing to adjust the pot AT ALL.

now my questions.

what voltage are the modules ran at to get this rated power?

im running them at 3 volts but should i start running them at 4.5?

does anyone else run theirs at 4.5 volts?

Perhaps she don't answer to PM coz you are very childish in your comment and so upset. You have to calm down and be courteous. You won't resolve your problem with threat and insult. I can't defend you'r deal with so bad comment, of course there is a problem but it's not a reason to react like you.

Buddy, if someone sold you a car claiming it would do 300mph, you buy it and test it, and it only goes at 100mph. Then the seller puts you through a load of bull claiming that you didn't measure it properly and refused a refund, wouldn't you be pissed?

I run mine at 4.5v. Strangely, it runs in TEM01 at 3v. When I bought it and put it into a dorcy, I thought it was a bunk module till I tried a 3.6v li-ion and it went into TEM00. So I put it in a jayrob heatsink (It was in a smaller darkhorse/Dorcy before) and larger 4.5v host. Now it runs great!

p.s.- Even though I like having these modules available on the cheap, Electron's situation bothers me. Standstone, You are losing more money than the 200mW costs you every day this persists. Please resolve this so that forum goers here feel safe buying from you.

Standstone, what is your opinion on the voltage for the 40 to 50mW modules?

Would it be alright to use an 18650 which is 4.2 volts at full charge?

I know that your 200mW laser uses this voltage as shown in this picture, but is it alright to supply the 50mW modules with this?

I just took one of her 40-50mw 532nm modules @ 3.6Volts.... and I'm getting 62mW...
With an IR filter in the beam... I'm getting 44mW...
So there is no IR coming out of those 532nm 40-50mW modules :
I haven't checked any others...

I guess you don't get much for $26.00...
Oh well... as I've heard.... "ya gets whats ya pays fur" ;D

Here I first thanks for the ones who support me and trust me such as Laserbee ,mauswiesel,wackbag,rog811 .....

For Electron case , I want to say even if the module arrived at underpower ,it is just one until now . it may be caused by many reasons , operating temperature , test method , or some happened on the way . pls trust me i didn't cheat him at all . I have 100% honest to sell him 200mw green laser torch . but finally it is underpowered ,I sent to him some e-mails initially just want to check and make sure if it really underpower , it is reasonable , if every customer said the product he got is underpower and I respond to exchange or refund at once . it is not possible .I should ensure if it is test by properly or some other reasons then do exchange or refund .
so Electron thought me persistent and post it on LPF and call me fraud . i never said to him I WON'T exchange or refund . as long as he said he didn't like it at all or ask a new one , I will do as he requested even pay the freight .but he didn't ,he beat and abuse me with some others . which hurt me deeply . i want to end up this case and let him return and refund him . he said 6~7 days will arrive at me , but 10 days passed it still not arrive . so I go to business trip to another city .finally it arrive at last Friday late afternoon and my colleague sigature it instead of me as I am at another city . our colleague thought it is just a common parcel from customers,just left it in my drawer , we have many parcels from foreigner who let us develop new products . so I came back today morning and saw Joe's message and his dispute to paypal . now I refund to him .
in addition,i didn't advise him if there is IR filter ,it is my neglect and forget .but I sell to many customers here are all without IR filter and declared on my post .I think I should pay more attention in future when quoted .

85~120mW green laser module(lighting up time can up to 10~20 minutes one time) $86.00
140~160mW .............................................................................................. $130.00

The modules under 160mW are without IR filter .if you need IR filter ,shall increase price .pls contact with me for checking price .

180mW~220mW green laser module with IR filter( pure 532nm) high stability at power . price is $238.00

as module from 100mw to 200mw is not big mass production at factory ,not same as 5~50mw which is big mass production so I can pick up from stcok . so module from 100~200mw modules at least 3pcs one order so that I can place order to product line .suggest you make a group buy .
