sorry to interrupt you guys, but from my point of view, daguin never expressed his dislike or disrespect toward you, DAoO; he is merely reminding you the importance of clear communication, especially when it comes to selling stuff.

all daguin and others are trying to tell you is that
"MOST POWERFULL, SMALLEST LASER" in fact, does NOT mean "the most powerful laser of THAT size..."

if you don't understand why the two statements are not equal, then you should look at my "100 year-old man with 2 billion dollars" example again

Just deal with the members here in a fair and honest manner, help others where you can, and you will always have my respect. Also understand, I am here to help members be successful in whatever they want to do. I will not attack you or anyone else as long as they are not trying to rip others off. If you think that I have said someting negative toward you or anyone else, please re-read it slowly with "help" in mind.

I hope it sells as well. You are offering something that many people do not have the ability (or the confidence) to build themselves.

IIRC I paid $600 for my first 6X laser. It was built by drlava in a Kryton Smooth. It was worth every bit of that $600, because it was the first custom built 6X available (and the 6X drives were selling for about $320 at the time: sleds were not available yet).

You are offering the first custom built 8X laser here. It is worth the price

Never said they weren't worth the money. I know the process is cutting edge and
with that comes the price not to mention that Jay man has to do his modifications
all worth the price also. I was just adding to the thread...sheezz.

Hey!


I have that host in black and silver... Looks nice, eh?

Jayrob machined the AixiZ modules for me, so they would protrude further out and create a better thermal contact to the host...


I have a 6x in it right now, and it's quite stable... 8x's need some heatsinking tho.....


But i'll make an LG 8x soon in Jay's CR2 Keychain kit... :yh:
