NICE BUILD drew. Too bad you had to sacrifice a CORE, It's one of the FEW lasers that WL did a decent job designing & manufacturing. But that's probably a broken one you got from jake, & put a BR in anyway. Am I right ? LOOKS GREAT though, & YOU ALWAYS do a WONDERFUL JOB when YOU build a laser. I know from 1st hand experience. Remember the repair work you did for me on that Dorcy Jr. I got from jake that didn't even work for 3 minutes after I got it ? Then I sent it to you, & you had to replace the diode & re-solder all the connections 'cause they were so sloppy. BTW, Since YOU worked on it, I haven't had a bit of trouble with it Thanks, buddy you did a GREAT JOB fixing it for me, & I'm sure that you put the same quality of work in THIS BUILD WELL DONE rob
lol this was actually a working core i slaughtered ;D i still have the module but used the driver board from it to make the BR(for the button). the only thing i really like about the core is the nice, tight beam it HAD. [smiley=evil.gif] glad to know the dorcy still works great.
This is just an AWSOME build!. I just got a CORE about 3 day's ago, and boy has it left me wanting MORE....lol. I was wondering if you could give me the info on how to do this, or maybe send you my CORE, and pay you to do the work. Once again AWSOME build..
it would be hard as heck to explain b/c of all the little stuff you have to modify but id be glad to do it(as long as you send all the parts and pay for shipping) for 20$
Just let me know the total cost of everything, and will get'er goin. Also you can keep the greenie diode if ya want it. I really appreciate your help. Can you maybe tell me the parts I need, or can you get them?
1) a core
2) a phr803t diode
3) a rkcstr driver
4) 2X10440 batteries
5) an aixiz module
Also if you want to try and do it on your own i could help you out...(like take pics when im building mine) but like drew said...there are lots of little mods you have to do...
