I have too many toys -- I've decided to sell one of my Ar Ion lasers.

Specs:

Uniphase Cyonics 2201-15SLB head.  This is a Single line Blue (488 nM) head measuring about 12x6x6".

Uniphase Cyonics 2101-15SLB Power Supply for the above head measures about the same size.  Nice Sky Blue  :)
This is a "plug and play" laser which when connected to 120 VAC heats up and outputs in 47 seconds. That's how long the cathode takes to heat up.  As the model number says, it is an average 15 mW output but will hit 25 mW for short periods controled by a pot on the rear. It draws about 8 to 10 amps of AC power and will heat the room !!!  All fans are in place and operate.

I have posted pictures of this in the past but can take more if needed but don't pester me if you're not serious please.
I'm asking $250.00 plus shipping of ~10 pounds to the lower 48 states.

By the way, With an external lens and full power,  I have to admit, I just popped a baloon and lit a black match.  You need a good lens to light the match.

Mike

Here it is running tonight. I have a cheap Harbor Freight lens in front and yes, I used cigar smoke to show the beam color. This is at 10 mW.
The laser head is sitting on top of the power supply.

Nice Mike a cool laser a space heater, and a good price! (You don't have to offset the electric bill but the savings could help)! ;D

Wow. This is actually affordable. I doubt it, but if by the time in the near future that I have sufficient funds for this, it is still available, I would be interested.
