I have a like new 1 watt 638nm laser. Uses the 500mW Mitsubishi diode inside a Romsen RC-A2 host with a Microflex drive and a Meredeth red lens (for the newer members here the Meredeth lens is an older lens but is one of if not the best lens ever used for red lasers). This laser is very compact and utilizes a CNC machined direct press aluminum heatsink that works as an entirely enclosed pill. This heatsink was made by IgorT and is one the best heatsinks I have ever used. Pictures will be up soon.

In a C6 host I am selling a greater than 6watt 450nm laser using the NUBM44 diode. This build utilizes a direct press copper heatsink for superior heat dissipation. The nice thing about this laser is the compact size and high power using only a single 18650 made possible by the SXB driver set to 4.5 amps. Uses a G9 lens. Laser is in great condition less than 30 min on the diode.

This laser draws almost 7 amps at times so a quality high discharge 18650 is absolutely necessary. I will include a Sony VTC5 which can easily handle the load but keep in mind that most other batteries especially the *crap*fire batteries will probably not work.

I still have a couple of pairs and will order more later so you can get them. :beer:

They shrink a 2 inch line from a nubm44 through a G2 focused at 15 feet to about 5/16, well they shrink the line by 6X on the fast axis, basically a one axis beam expander.

I find focusing my G2 around 15 feet to produce a good result, if you are going to be working at 100 feet you can try to focus there but the difference will be tiny.

You will want to lock your G2 down, I use a 12mm module end as a lens nut to lock it down, because if the lens even moves in the thread slack to the side it will throw your setting.

I center my focused and locked down G2 beam at a point on a piece of steel at 15 feet then set the 1st lens about 1/2 from my lens and center it in the same spot, the line will be 3-4 feet wide, then set the convex lens at about 1.25 inches and center as tight as you can get it, your line will be about 5/16 and set paper bags on fire quickly.

Of course you can only see the work you are doing through your safety glasses and you need to set at full power as the line shrinks at say half power.

I only bought 2 pairs from the first group buy, then I bought several more on my own straight from the supplier, I did not buy any from the second group buy as I had already bought several pairs from the supplier on my own after the 1st group buy.

Yesterday I spoke up 1st for the pair Glutton listed of his own, but down with umbrella wanted them so I let them go to him.

I did buy another pair that was offered to me yesterday after this that I paid for, but I did not seek them out, they were offered to me.

I now order from the supplier and I have shared that information openly.

Is there a group buy now or do you want the name of the supplier so you can order directly?

I don't want to derail any group buys, but I don't think one is going on is it?

I ordered the bulk of my pairs from LSP, he only list up to 4x on his flebay listing but pm him and ask for 6X.

If there is no GB then everyone should order from LSP as well as buy from each other so we can have access to a ready supply of parts, I did not want to step on anyone's GB before, but I don't think there is one right now, so if people want these parts, and they are good parts, then contact LSP so he can keep them on hand, I will probably get a couple more pairs later myself, I am hoping the nubm08e will have divergence like the nubm06, these work great with the nubm44 and even better with the nubm06.

Maybe I do not understand it right, but I think that a GB for such 6x cylindrical lenses is on at the moment.

2 months ago Glutton posted in that thread in GB section that he was waiting for the supplier to get more stock in. What means that until the moment he says there are no lenses to get at the end I feel to be committed to this GB and should not contact seller directly. But I only signed up for 2 pairs.

By the way I just went to links you provided - there are not even 4x in stock. Have you also cleared all of those?
