I am building a new PC and have been on a very tight budget. I was originally going to put a Pentium 4 into it but I decided that I should get with the program and upgrade to a Core 2 Quad. So I decided that maybe clearing out a few of my older components would allow me to get one of them.
New combo deal. You can get the processor, router, and graphics card shipped Priority mail for $65. Thats about $20-$30 in savings (including shipping).
So without further ado here's what I got.
1. This is a LGA775 socket Pentium 4 2.8ghz 800kb cache (possibly 1mb, I am not sure) CPU. The flash on my camera has made it appear to have some artifacts on the contact points, rest assured there are none there.
I will take $30 for this. That is about the price you would pay anywhere else if not cheaper. This is a great CPU, it runs almost all of my games very smoothly. This is ideal for someone who uses ther computer casually rather then gaming. Also for $5 more I can include a heatsink and fan.
2. Next is a ATI Radeon X700 256mb PCI-E graphics card. This is a little older card but runs most of my games flawlessly (although I don't play brand new games). Again this is ideal (actually is more then you need) for a casual user but also great for gamers who don't necessarily play top of the line games.
Notice the heatsink/fan is not the original one. The original fan crapped out on me so I had to replace it. This fan though has a blue LED and look's rather neat if you have a case that allows you to see inside.
Just showing the type of ports it has.
I will let this go for $20. That is a great deal for this card. You could find it on google for about $50.
3. Next up is a Linksy's 4 port Router and switch complete with ethernet cord that was included (never used) and CD and documentation, and of course the power cord. This thing is in great condition and wasn't used for very long. Relatively easy setup too.
I used this router for about 2 months before getting different internet service and switching to a wireless one. I have never tryed networking with it. I am not too familiar with switches. This will go for $25. That is about $20 less then you can get it anywhere else.
4. Here are a couple things. I have an IDE to SATA converter card that I could never figure out how to use. It is supposed to allow you to use an IDE device with a SATA motherboard.
I will let this go for $5
Sorry for the terrible image
That is all I got. Shipping is not included with any of these items. Please contact me for a shipping quote. The processor must be insured, it will only be a couple bucks.
Also please make sure your motherboard will support the processor or graphics card before you buy. Make sure you have an Intel, socket 775, and have an adequate heat sink and fan for it. Also PCI-E is not to be confused with PCI. I know that most of you here are pretty computer savvy but for those that aren't I figured I would help you out a bit.
Please post or PM me. I appreciate you guys helping me out in advance. Thanks!
