I contacted pentacat, who never sent me the laser back as he was asked to, his comment to me just now - in lieu of sending back, to which I never had any idea -

I have sold literally hundreds of labby's and a few pointers. People forget that any high powered pointer will not run CW forever and sometimes forget about duty cycle.

I hope this clears this up..

But the guy saki302 who bought this laser first told Petacat that he measured it to be 860mW and sent it back to Peta for the refund. Peta than opened a new FS thread where he claimed the 1.3W (but knew it wasn´t 1.3W from saki´s measurements.

Think Petacat is the one to blame here.



Anyway, everything is fine, I sold the laser as a 830mW laser 2 weeks ago.

SO the laser is still here along with a fully built Maglight Jayrob unit that IS putting out 1.99 Watts AFTER the AR coated lens. Silver with the 2 expensive 32600 batteries ($350) and I just found my 225mW 635nm dorsy host single CR123 3.7V pointer...
