That interface pic has me wondering. Do those 2 piece have to be put together a certain way? or will screwing it together make the contacts line up right?

The latter one, yes.

Re: FS: Sanwu Laser store - R/G/B handhelds x3 BE & Stainless steel "The Spiker" rele

Hi all. New to the forum so apologies if I should post this somewhere else. Can someone give me a battery recommendation for a Spiker saber 445nm 3000mw? I've been searching the forums and sanwu website for any info and can't find any discussions. I have tried unprotected 30qs and vtc5s as I use those in all my flashlights but it seems they are too short and don't make contact. I know on sanwu website, you recommend double protected 18650s, any brand work best? Also can you confirm direction the batteries should be going in? Positive facing head? Thanks in advance and message me a suggestion if I'm posting in the wrong place.

Protected Panasonic 3400mAh 18650 or sanyo 2600 mAh 18650.

You can use unprotected batteries as long as you place a few magnet spacers to fill the gap.

Positive towards the diode, negative to the tailcap.

I have a couple questions about Sanwu Pockets...I want to get a couple more of the Pocket series, The 520 150mw, the 445 500mw and maybe the 405nm 200mw. I know g2 lens vs g7 give better burning focus right? And i read somewhere that the g2 is best for the 405 vs the g7. But what about the 520 and 445, should I go g2 or g7? I want maximum burning potential.

Hello, if you wouldn't mind me chiming in. G2's are better than g7's across the board, with all diodes as far as burning goes . DTR has a 2 element that is comparable to the g7 ( in my opinion ) hope this helps some . :)

hey, yeah thats what i kinda figured. Glad someone chimed in. G7's seemed so good but I guess g2 still is the winner.

Now if only Sanwu would offer some package deals or some sort of sales/discounts. i want like everything they sell :D but damn the costs are just too high.

For us poor folk I guess 1 laser every pay or two will have to do. Now which to get first... I love how perfect the pocket looks. I love my 650nm pocket. It is a beautiful piece of hardware. It needs friends

I have the whole pocket collection, and by far ( my opinion ) their new pocket 520 150mw is their best followed by their 445 500mw. It's amazing how great a beam such a small host can throw! Sanwu's are great. Your collection will grow a little here a little there, you'll get to where you want to be just don't stop trying. Going to be ordering my first JL here shortly. Looking forward to that. Enjoy and be safe. :)~~~~~~ edit, just so you can compare my avatar is a pocket 520 50mw and a 445 500mw taken in the dark with a Jayrob keychain mini in the middle. I forgot the mw's on the keychain one think it's 140ish of 445.

Nice BobMc!

I have the 250mw 650nm and have the pocket 405 and 520 incoming. Looking forward to the 520! Do you know what the divergence is with the G7 lens? I'm assuming you ordered it with the G7.
