Both units are expected to peak at ~8W. We can lower the output if you want a more stable performance.:evil:

Welcome!
I chose to make the review during day, to see all clear, and the beam is quite visible and in full day, just my camera was not the best. I use a Samsung galaxy note 4 for that.
PS i want a beam expander, but first I must save some money, for that

Well, I can swap to safety mode. Unless all your lasers have that functionality, I think I have a multimode.

Ordered a 1W 520nm Silver series laser two days ago with the beam expander. I have wanted a 1W+ 520nm for a while (basically since they came out), but when those diodes were $800+ I just couldn't justify it. Now with an offering like this, it's a price I'm willing to pay.
Opted for the multi mode driver with the G7 lens. Francis says they'll push the diode as close to 1.4W as possible. So excited! Been so long since I got a new laser..

So does the beam expander fit the copper modules from DTR? Like does it screw in or do I need to fit it or put an adapter on it?

You use this adaptor from sanwu to screw your regular M9 x 0.5 lens such as 3 element or G2 into and the expander on the other side.
On this big homemade clunk I used some washers to set my 3 elements focus depth at 5 meters, or you can use your heat sinks set screw and push your module back , it's simple, regular lens on 1 side and expander on the other.
