The last of the kits has sold.  I dropped the price a bit on the assembled modules to split the difference from the kits.

Working to clean off my desk here.  I have several Red burner modules available.  These have the Long Closed Can diode and a Rkcstr driver fixed at 410mA.  They come with an AixiZ module with an acrylic lens.  You get a fully assembled module.  All you need to add to make a burning laser is 6V-12V  and a heat sink

The assembled modules will arrive ready for your heat sink and 6V of power.

The fully assembled module is $35, shipped in the US.  International shipping is a bit more.

Peace,
dave

Sorry. No.

The drivers are "fixed" at 410mA.

Keep your eyes on the B/S/T section. I think another member is going to start offering PHR modules in the next week or so. I don't know if he is going to offer them with drivers ,though :-/

What mW can we achieve on a 9v battery?  :-?  ;D

The red diode doesn't draw as much voltage as the violet diode. It usually does OK with a 9V battery. At 410mA, the Long Closed Can will give you between 230mW-250mW. That's plenty of power to burn stuff. [smiley=evil.gif]

i was scanning the thread when i ordered the module this morning, and for some reason thought it said it used a flexdrive
then thinking about how daguin could include a flexdrive for that price, i double checked, and....i was wrong

This combination red diode and Rkcstr driver requires a minimum of 5.5V to run.

I'm sorry. I used my last one this afternoon in an 6X MXDL that I built to test out the new "Big Chunk" heat sinks.

This hasn't shipped. I can refund your money if you would like.

I have 9 of these left

$40 for a complete module
