yeah i think they will be awesome.
Heatsinks will be here tomorrow (i'm hoping.....kind of broke so i am debating on waiting till friday to pick them up from my machinist.)

Batteries are on their way EMS from bestofferbuy...but i ordered some from drew also so i can get a couple up and running sooner i guess to "confirm" it's a solid kit.

maybe people can buy the kit and then send it to you for assembly ;)

You should do a combo offer for the kit + darkarmyofone's build service. New people could be more interested...

I'm interested, but I can't decide if I want to put my 6x diode into this or my beat up sonar :p

i would have to go look at which i ordered, but if i had to guess i'd say no...

i called the machinist and told him just to wait untill friday, since i had like $112, so if i paid him the rest i would of had $12 to last me all week...and i still needed gas and cigarettes lol

so i'll get the heatsinks on friday and hopefully have those 2 batteries and charger from drew by then also, i can post the pictorial on how to assemble the kits and such....and get some better pictures.

Probably won't matter as IIRC the flex V4 cuts off at a certain voltage threshold (therefore preventing the battery from draining past the safe point) ...

Ya know I swore I'd never go with a "flashlight" host but these look pretty freakin nice, Amigo!
You might just have a customer here soon (I have several 150mW modules coming from yet another new supplier to test and sell, etc before I get too crazy building new poop!)

Can't wait for your review, then! :)

150mW modules? As in complete modules with a spring?

Yeah, I decided to try yet another supplier for the green modules ... the price is similar to Susies (actually quite a bit better if I buy in quantity) but I have been guaranteed 135mW average as well as 150+ peak plus there are some other perks, I can order them with or without switches, etc (once I start ordering in bulk) - my goal is to eventually offer them tested to exact spec here on the forum at roughly the same price point as ordering from China so no 2 week wait, and you'll get an exact power graph with each one as well as exact specs in regards to mrad, divergence, etc so no ugly surprises - we'll see how that goes though once I try a few of them out!

I already have a buddy machining me a quick-release module tester to make things go easier/faster if it works out, the only drawback is that to make it all work correctly (and stay somewhat profitable) I'm going to have to take somewhere between 30-50 modules at a shot, again, I'll keep u posted!

keep me informed on that brew, i'm still in need of a green laser.....i was hoping to have one by july 4th for when the sky is filled with smoke from fireworks but i don't think it's going to happen.

Anyways...my batteries are on their way EMS, and the batteries and charger are on their way from drew, and i am picking up the heatsinks friday so i should be able to post pictures of the kit assembly process along with pictures of what the finished product will look like...
