why me talk like tarzan????

i would like to see a pic of the laser and a beamshot please. i was looking for a labby but this may do for now. just to clarify it is blue (473nm) right? im sure for the price it is, but i have to ask. thanks.

Yeah, of course it is 473nm blue. I'll put some pictures on the first post..

Yeah, well it would be dumb not to ask since it is not specified, alot of people call 405nm blue also.
i ran across a good deal on a lab style w TTL so if it falls through then i will let you know. that way i can use it in my scanner build soon.

Yeah, well it would be dumb not to ask since it is not specified, alot of people call 405nm blue also.

And a lot of people are dumb. 405 = violet blue :( Therefore when someone says blue you should assume a blue wavelength, not a violet wavelength. especially when the pics look VERY blue and less violet. Also the fact that there is an IR filter installed on the aperture cap. Why the hell would there be an IR filter on a violet diode laser ?

maybe that was a bit harsh ?

:banghead:
the pix were not posted when i replied to the post.
u see the "edited on ..." tag under the first post???

i know 405nm is violet, but tons of people call it blue or blu ray.
wouldn't you feel dumb if you fell for a marketing scheme and found out it could be avoided by asking the seller a SIMPLE question?
THATS WHY I ASKED!! not because i don't know the difference between wavelengths, but because there were no pix and no description besides a model #. sure i could have referenced the model number, but i figured it would be easier to post a question. guess i was wrong

Hehehe, calm down

calm down??:wtf:

i had a question, i asked the question, i got an answer. the end

you just butted in and added your $0.02 worth. NOT NEEDED.
next time save it little kid, and wait till it is something worth while.

P.S. piss off

maybe that was a bit harsh ?

"Hehehe"

DONE!

I apologize for my rudeness. But you shouldn't get so worked up over something on the internet, on a public forum.

I also apologize to you Jimmy for the thread jack.

Looks like a nice laser, and diachi when you say

"you shouldn't get so worked up over something on the internet"

Why does it make any difference that it is over the net? If someone is rude to you whether it's through an email, internet, speech or any other form of communication your still being rude and that will still provoke a reaction.

I'm perfectly settled :p

I'm leaving this now, I won't reply to this thread so don't ask me any questions here. I feel I have hijacked this thread a little too much now. And I am sorry, Jimmy.

Good luck with the sale !

Regards,

Adam

Whoa, I just got home from school and I see this..!
Yeah I see where WonHungLow is going here, it wasn't much effort for me to say that it is truly 473nm ;)
Anyways, thanks for the free bumps guys:umbrella:
