If asking price was $350+ I would question it, but for what it is, $250 is a very fair price. Anyone is welcome to wait a month (or more) to get their laser direct from o-like and it may be under or overspec or have other problems. Here is a guaranteed working laser up to spec, that's a huge difference, and IMO worth more than the markup bhwollen is asking for. After all is said and done, he's really not making much on this sale.

I don't really approve of what he did/said either, but he did apologize and the way the system is setup a neg rep from anyone approaching veteran status is kind of unfair to anyone who hasn't been on the forums for a long time years.
There is a reason facebook only has a "like" button all over the place. Think about it, we are far more open with critical and negative responses than with supportive ones.

The beam diameter at aperture can be measured regardless of whether the laser is focusable or not.
The minimum divergence can also be measured.
@DJNY, for reference, the unit I received had a beam diameter of 1.5mm-2.5mm depending on the operating mode. Based on the reviews I've read, most, if not all of these lasers are quite unstable. If I recall correctly, divergence was good at around 1.1mRad or thereabouts. However, like the beam diameter, the divergence was dependent on what mode the laser wanted to operate in.
I don't know if you read my review or any others... If not I can dig it up from the review section and send you the link via PM (or you can probably find it there yourself). I covered all the main points in my review before I sold it, so if you are looking for an approximation of what to expect, the unit I received may be a useful point of reference (not that any two lasers must be the same, but similar).

btw: did you use smoke/fog in the room where you took the beamshot? how bright was it in there?
seems a pretty damn bright dot even for the eyes, when shines on a black surface.

No smoke/fog. Daylight with windows open. This thing has a visible beam in daylight.
