I've been lurking here for a bit and absolutely love the community. It inspired me to buy 3 new lasers a few days ago finally (200mW red, 100mW green and a 20mW 405). :-D

I also recently dismantled and salvaged a good deal of parts from an old YAG we were trashing (broken seeder/not enough power so it was worthless) and I figured I would offer them on here since I will never build a setup large enough to use them.

I have:

3x 6x115mm Nd:YAG rods 2 are in perfect condition one has a small burn spot off center on one face (picture upon request).

several quarter wave plates with mounts ~1cm diameter

1SHG stage in a heater mount (crystal is great but some chips due to laser miss alignment on the outer plastic case)

And I also have another mirror but I have to test if it was one of the yag cavity mirrors or the dichroic (money is on the cavity mirror but I didnt mark it when I disassembled the apparatus)

If you are interested in anything feel free to send me a PM with an offer and I can upload pictures of everything as well when I get a change or when I get a request.

Thanks!!

Not to burst your bubble but you've been a member for less than a day and this is your first/only post. Most people are generally hesitant to deal with someone with little rep. Is there someone/something that can vouch for you? Generally an established membership on another forum will suffice...

Also, you should keep in mind that there could be export restrictions against the YAG rods you are selling. Do some research before attempting to sell internationally.

Other than that, Welcome to LPF.

I generally figured it will be a long shot that people would be interested in a new poster. I tend to lurk a bit on forums before I join or post. I figured that a community with great laser enthusiasts as this might like to see what I have to offer in the way of goods while I build up rep through the forums (and hopefully get to see awesome shots of them in action soon there after). If people like my contributions at a later date there will always be this thread to reference back to if someone is looking for something new to try out.

Thanks for the tip on the international issues. I am always hesitant of shipping/buying internationally both on things such as this and items that are much more benign due to the dangers of import laws and conflicting laws on how to deal with conflicts of things being confiscated. Thus I should note that I highly prefer to ship US only but special exceptions can be made.

I should also clarify that I am a laser enthusiast but after working with a pulsed YAG and an OPO/OPA IR laser most of my graduate career I in no way want to ever undertake the effort of building these at home (both for safety and headaches of how finicky they can be) so I am sticking to the fun of diode bases systems and leaving the big projects to someone braver than I.
