Up for sale now are our first 2 completely custom hosts. This thread will later be used to list our other custom hosts as we will continue producing these. We also do custom hosts, so PM us if you are looking for something different or more customized.

Fit 2x18650 Batteries

Contact Board with Attached Leads (Removable with 2 screws)

12mm heatsink bore with set screw (allen wrench included)
Heatsink long enough to fit full module (Perfect for just ordering a module with leads attached from DTR: Plug-n-Play!)
Mirror Polish


We are looking a doing a run with these hosts. For those interested, the prices will be as follows:

Host with Finned Knob: $75 shipped
Host with Assault Knob: $80 shipped
Host with Smooth Flow Knob: $85 shipped

Shipped prices are for in U.S. only. International shipping is available.

You can also choose the finer finning or coarser finning. Additional machining options such as knurling, larger diameter heatsink, etc. can be added for a few dollars.

These prices are a bit higher than my original estimates way back, but these hosts also come with much more than I originally intended.

Noted. Another option available is an 11.8mm bore with no setscrew so you can press your copper module in instead.

I'm happy with the set screw. No diode press and I like your idea for plug and play hosts

I've spoken with MrCrouse about setting up a symbiotic deal where I get these 2 hosts, and build a custom laser into it, sell it, and forward him the cost of the host.

That being said, if you have something you want me to build into these, I will take custom orders. Otherwise these will be outfitted with a 638nm, and 9mm 445nm diode as follows.

Diode: 9mm 445nm
Driver: 2.2A X-Drive
Lens: 9mm stock lens

And

Diode: Mit 500mW 638nm
Driver: 850mA X-Drive
Lens: G2 glass

So there is still one host left. The host with the thicker fins has been called for a custom build already. If someone wants something built into the other host, I am available

On hand I have a 520nm diode, and an S06J, I also have 10 LPC-826 diodes coming in.

Or if you want anything else, I can buy it and put it in the host to your liking, as whatever current you want, and with whatever lens.
