Hey, Dave!
Are these Blu-ray modules case-negative/positive?
Just curious since this would be a great thread to refer people to when they get my next kit. They would just need to remove the negative lead and create a positive contact point on the bottom of the module... It would save them a lot of trouble.
Thanks, Matthew

They are case negative. Although I have the negative "wire" coming out the back of the module, the negative path can be taken from the module. You CAN just cut off the negative wire and use the module case negative.

11 @ 245mW red modules left ($35)

2 @ 190mW 6X bluray (violet) modules left ($100)

1 @ 30mW bluray (violet) pointer module left ($35)

Peace,
dave

Dave are you just selling off what you've got or will you be doing this long-term?

This is mostly just moving stuff I do not use or need.

I do NOT intend on building these as a side job ;)

I had a few more LCC reds, but Glenn needed them for a customer.

I have a few more 6X's, a couple of PHR's, and one more of the low power bluray diodes I can build with, but this will deplete my red burner stock.

Dave- I PPed & PMed (for one red module)and was wondering if you would PM me back on a good buddy price for a PHR with driver set to your fav. specs. If the price is right I will pay you and you can hold shipping and send together and take all the time you need on the PHR. I plan to put the PHR into a cheapie Husky host w/ my heatsink.--peace back at ya!!-------- hak ----- BTW Dave are you ever NOT on-line at LPF?? I hardly ever see your name without that green 'daguin is now on line'--I still use Dail-up and no lap-top either!!--:p

Let me make sure of what I have available first. I'm not at home now.

I am a professor of human communication. This semester I am only teaching early AM classes. Since I left my old lady a few months ago, I don't have much of a social life right now ;) LOL!

Peace,
dave

I just finished my first laser build using one of these red modules. It was a lot of fun and turned out pretty nice. Thanks Dave.
I started a thread in the Red Laser section explaining the build with a bunch of photos.
