I have one of the "older" models here. It is much less massive than what is on the site now. It also had a "cheesier" clicky switch. I decided NOT to use it to build my matched sets.

I have one of the "newer" ones on the way. I'll compare them when it gets here.

I'm already looking for my next host

i really want a blu-ray! i would buy the set but i already have the dx 200mw red laser. and i don't know if i want to take a few hundred bucks out of my money that im saving for a car!

Thank you. I got it. Is the name on the Paypal account the one you want me to ship the lasers to? I will not get the lasers packaged up this morning. I have to leave for class. I will strive to get them packaged before the mail goes out this afternoon. If I miss the mail run this afternoon, they will go out in tomorrow's post.

This is a Rip off !!! you can get one from Jake21 For way cheaper and better quality.
He also ships very fast and don't use "Snail Mail"

Who said it was better quality? Does Jake21 use custom heatsinks that dissipate heat from the diode AND the driver? Does Jake21 test his lasers for at least 1 week? Stop bashing Dave, please. You don't need to walk all over his thread, just tell him in a PM. If i was in a bad mood, i would call you a rude jackass. If you are going to announce something, please make sure not to make the other person feel bad, and don't announce it to the public. Dave's items ship very fast indeed.

Where the hell did THIS come from. Is this just because I refused to sell you the Pheonix for less money than the offered price? Have you and Jake become a "couple" so that you feel some need to defend him? Did somebody piss in your cornflakes this morning? Did your Momma tell you she wasn't REALLY gonna buy you that RPL for your birthday like you told me she was going to after I refused to lower my price for you?

I don't believe you've ever seen one of my lasers. Nor have you ever experienced how quickly I ship. Nor do you know what methods I use to ship. Nor are you party to my communication with my customers. There are several options for lasers that are "cheaper" than mine. Jake's are one of those options. Please enlighten me (and the group) how you came to the "realization" that this is a "rip off" since you know nothing about them.

Having never held a laser made by either daguin or jake21, having only seen their methods, the pictures of their finished work, and their contributions of knowledge to the forum, I can safely say dave's lasers are much better than jake's.

Dave knows what he's talking about and has been doing this for years as a personal hobby and interest. Jake is new to making lasers and he builds them specifically to sell. Less than half a year ago jake didn't even know what a multimeter was and has been gradually improving his knowledge and workmanship since then.

Personally I'd rather buy from someone who is in this hobby for the fun and education of it rather than someone who is just out to make a buck... I'd also be more inclined to trust someone who has consistently mastered the spelling of small words such as "the" and "and"... but maybe that's just me.

Disregard wesdaman's slanderous, uninformed lies and make your purchase decisions based on facts.
