Hi Paul!

The original asking price was 400$ + shipping OBO. I dropped the price to 300$ + shipping. As mentioned in the PM, you're welcome to make me an offer but I would be shooting myself in the foot if I sell it for any lower.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Washington and Pennsylvania could be more father apart. Damn! Would have loved to add that to my collection.

Just bought a Siemens 7.6mW HeNe laser with power supply for $75.00. It is a matched pair and couldn't pass it up. I wonder where all the cheap HeNe lasers went, as when I go looking for one I always seem to find the price inflated over what I consider a fair price. Still there are some good ones out there. But, for a 5mW or under, the price should be way under $100.00, especially if it is used. IMHO.

Thats not a bad price actually. Its about the going rate for a hene of that power. Alot of sellers will hagle a bit on prices if you message them. Some wont but meh. You just got to shop around a bit and you'll eventually get a good deal.

Jeffery, I will do that. This is far from my first gas laser, though. Back in the 80s I used to make holograms with my He-Ne laser and optical bench. These were reflective ones that could be seen in ordinary light. Did them on glass photo plates and because the developer shrank the gel emulsion on the plate, they all came out green. Made some really cool holograms back in the day.

YEAY!!!! My new He-Ne laser is here! I tried to measure it, but I live in this mansion that was converted to apartments and with the 12 foot ceilings and many openings to the outside, it is too windy right now to get an accurate reading. But, I was able to get enough to say that it is over spec. It is gorgeous, and I couldn't be happier.
