Price is $14 Shipped to the USA,
Additional pairs are $8 each

These are the best safety glasses I have found that don't break the bank.

Even if you have an expensive pair of safety glasses, these are great for guests.

Also if you are trying to record or photograph your laser these can be very helpful (Other than beam shots)

They are allegedly OD4+
I have measured a 1W 445 at under 1mW,
So they are at least OD3+

They also work great for 405nm lasers and 532nm lasers
Note: They do not filter out IR, so unfiltered 532 is still dangerous.

They actually hold up fairly well against a 1W Laser:
It takes about a minute of shining on the same spot before 1mW shows up on my LPM.
After 5 mins of 1W 445, they still didn’t completely fail, about 15mW gets through.

USA Coustomers Ignore this:

A quick message to International buyers, since I am getting several questions.
The price will be the same but + shipping instead of free shipping,
so 14 for the first and 8 for aditional + shipping.
I do this because I have to drive to the post office to ship International orders
Shipping method is up to you, Im located in Lubbock, Texas 79406, so you can look up the shipping cost online.
They are shipped in a padded envlope, and the weight is about 3 oz for the first and 1 oz for aditional

This is a great deal! How many of these do you have? This will be great for new members looking to get their safety glasses because they are aware of the dangers of lasers! Right? Right newcomers? You are aware? If not, link in my sig. Check it out.

Peace,

If you are comfortable with untracked 1st class international mail probably about 2$ more,
If you want tracking much more expensive.

Edit: thanks for the support everyone,
I plan on keeping these stocked for the foreseeable future
Have about 30 on hand ATM.

Is it possible you can get some for red (638,650nm)?

I would like to, but I have only ever owned 1 pair of safety glasses for a red laser.
If anyone has recommendations I would like to hear them.

how are these compared to the Uvex or Eagle Pair?

These are OD 3+, meaning they will reduce a laser to less than 1/1,000
Most eagle pair are 4+, or 1/10,000

Using these with my 1.6w 445nm laser, they do an excellent job and are great for the price!
