Just to be clear, this is a kenometer (not pro) in a new housing (not pictured) but it will have a LCD display for the power? (versus other regular kenometers which are just USB) (or am I confused here...?)

I am trying to see if I will have enough money to spare at this time...

sorry.. I tried to be clear. It has just a simple led display. Blue of course. All it displays is the power of the laser. I don't care what deranged may say even in an ugly enclosure it's still worth at LEAST $300! So this is an offer that is a steal. For you viper I will include free shipping and a free focus adapter (you already paid for it)

In the first post you can see the display that it will have. LED digit display. Although there won't be any visible holes like in the one pictured. I've gotten very good at cuttin holes in plastic without making them oversized or ugly,be they square or round, big or small.

Agreed. I'm suprised it hasn't sold yet. The box shouldn't really be an issue, the important parts are the head and the guts of the meter.

Asking price is $200 Shipping and paypal fees not included. This will be in a brand new enclosure that I will purchase and install the guts into so that there are no blemishes or scratches.

This is a great deal, I was just wondering about what you said in the OP...?

About a brand new enclosure and installing the guts and everything into it?

Thanks for your patience, this will be my last question concerning this meter.

Then I need to decide if I can afford it!!! :undecided:

The enclosure is purely cosmetic. You can take it apart and make your own! It would be even more fun than having someone else do it.

well, the enclosure it's currently in is the one pictured with the LCD. Since it's not going with the LCD, I need to put it in a new enclosure so there isn't a huge gaping hole where the readout is. The power supply, readout, sensor and accompanying board need to be removed and moved to the new enclosure. Would take me about 1 hour to do so. I MIGHT even be able to put it in a METAL enclosure and anodize it custom for ya! haha.. that of course would be extra. :) but we could work that out later if you so desire.

I mean how cool would that be to have a blue/black marble anodized enclosure for your Kenometer oldschool! LMAO

I should just offer up the enclosures anodized and anyone interested can modify it as they see fit and install their meter if they so desire. I'll tell ya, those metal enclosures are thick aluminum and not so easy to cut square holes in!

Yeah i know... i messed one up before i used this enclosure:banghead:
either a dremel suck to cut those things, or i just suck at using a dremel:p

and you know that might be a cool idea if you would get a few cases anodize them and sell them here, i gues there would be atleast a few people here willing to buy one

Yes, I am very happy that I bought it. I only hear good things about these heads. :)

My wallet isn't very happy with me today.

I bought this meter this morning and I said to myself "I need to cut back on frivolous spending" Lol

I just bought a 1.2W RGB projector with JNM wide galvos here at SELEM. :D
Daguin was standing next to me when I bought it and I told him that this hobby is gonna kill my wallet. He just gave me a big grin. :p

A few minutes ago, Dr Lava talked me into a new Beta version of an Arduino controlled DAC as well.

I really gotta hold back on spending for a while. ;) Hehehe

while your there talkin with dr. Lava tell him thanks for his contribution to this particular style Kenometer.without his assistance I never would have figured out how to use the board to power it and get it to read 1mv/mw.
