FS: jayrob 1.1Watt 445nm 18650 build with Copper Heatsink (SOLD)

Up for sale is a custom build I did using jayrob's 18650 kit. I'm selling it because I need the funds to build another. Asking price is $275 with the 405-G-1 lens. I can switch the lens out with an aixiz acrylic for a discounted price of $225.

I recommend duty cycles of 60-90 seconds as the laser generates a lot of heat. The copper heatsink does provide better heat dissipation compared to the aluminum ones. If you do decide to go with the acrylic lens, I recommend that you replace the lens immediately with the aixiz 405-445 glass lens or the 405-G-1, as the high output will melt the acrylic.

Great looking laser, any chance we can get a pic of the dot at 10ft or so? My perfect laser would be this host with the A130 diode and the Aixiz 445nm glass lens with jay's ezfocus adapter, so I'm just wondering how close this is to that

Also, isn't that jayrob's DIY Green host? It looks like it, and not really like his 18650 black host, but... idk.

Jayrob was out of his normal 18650 host when I bought it from him. He gave me the DIY green host, which is internally identical to the 18650 host. I'll post a picture of the dot when I get the chance. I was going to wait until aixiz corrected their supply issues before getting a 405-445 glass lens. Unfortunately, the only lenses I have are the 405-g-1 and the aixiz acrylic. I offered the discounted option to those who would prefer to use the aixiz lens instead. That way, they can buy the $10 lens and perform the upgrade themselves.
