Do you have any pics/video of the output from this system using actual laser scanners? I have heard mostly negative things about the quality of ishow, but I prefer to form opinions on my own.

here is a test picture.
i have used a cs-150G (20K scanner)
i currently dont have any 50K lasers here :(

in the settings i putted it to a 30K otherwise camera only took half of the text test so it changes a bit.

this is a set for starters, if you require more options i can also offer phoenix software and interfaces. but their prices are around 400-500 euro.

The test text in that picture does look pretty rough. I would stick to selling the Phoenix systems if I were you.. I know they're more expensive, but a homebrew soundcard DAC does MUCH better text than the ishow and for less cost. People would get a better setup just spending the extra $$ for the Phoenix system.

The output quality in that video isn't absolutely horrible, but it isn't very good either. I also doubt that the ishow system will handle full-motion graphics..

You are correct, this system is for beginners but I'd still have to say that the soundcard DAC is still by far the best beginner option.

I still say to stick to the Phoenix setup.

I don't mean to trash the thread, I'm merely giving you honest feedback.

Well there you go, For anyone who wasn't convinced. Andy's pics show it all...that first picture absolutely sucks for those 40k scanners which I know are fine.
