Hello!

I have one working 1st imagine intensifier tube. This tube needs only 5-7V for power and will intensify an image up to 30,000 times. It comes with lens ( from an SLR camera ) and I'll send along a 5V wall wart for power. Cost me £65 when I got it, has a few minutes of use on it since then.

£30 + shipping.

Cheers!

Yeah I'll hold it for you - though I do need to sell it soon!

I'll upload some pictures soon. It'll come with everything ready to have it working - though you may need to remove the lens and reattach it - I glued up the focus adjustment slightly with hot glue - should be easy to get off though.

It's ready and wired to go, but as I said, the focus adjustment needs reglued, but it should only take 10 minutes to take it off and put it on again.

If you're going to be viewing it the way you would view a rifle scope you'll need something like a jewlers loupe or any other short focal length lens for the eyepiece. It WILL work without this though.

The image is much sharper than that in person - my camera just doesn't like close ups since it's an old phone camera. That was with VERY dull lighting conditions and the aperture fully open.

Looks battered man lol, u had a go at it with ur lasers? :p. Is there any marks / scratches / blemishes on the lens or view? Also, can it see IR laser beams etc? Ive been looking around the web and i believe it can, just want to be sure :)

It may look a tad battered lol, but it's heavy and rugged! A friend of mine picked one up too, his is mounted inside a drainpipe and he has mounted batteries and a switch on the outside. Looks pretty good ( or at least it did until he damaged it while drunk ! )

There are no marks or blemishes or scratches. I've had it for months, the aperture cap has been on it just about the whole time ( minus the few minutes where I was using it ).

I've not tested it with any IR lasers ( not got any ), but it can see the IR from a TV remote and it can see my green laser well too.
