Hey guys,

I have a complete green HeNe set (laser+PS) up for sale, it's the one shown in my profile pic (I got another one of the same model but higher output :p)

It's outputting around 1.3mW, it was originally a Coherent 31-2772-000, it is now a bare tube. Includes the laser tube, ballast, clips, alden cable, etc.

US SALE ONLY (unless you wish to deal with glass+international shipping and customs)

I'd be looking for around $150+shipping, open to offers/trades. Thanks!

should be about 2800VDC @ 6.5mA with a 75K ballast and it takes 10KV to start it. My tube is a cousin of this one, and uses the same supply. its a 19" resonator I believe

Could probably tweak the mirrors and squeeze a little more power out of it. Though 1-2mW is pretty normal for a green HeNe. It's a very picky color

I *might* be getting a lot of money in the next week or two so if that were to happen I would definitely be interested. It would depend a lot on how much it would cost to ship to Canada though.

I'm not sure you'd want a fragile glass tube going through international mail... I can calculate if you'd like though

Just curious but is this still a feeler if a for sale thread? Any idea if you'll part with the power supply?

Yes it is as I've been a bit busy recently. I currently have two PSU's for these lasers but I have four of these lasers :p so I'm not sure on parting with a PSU but I'm leaning towards just selling the complete set HeNe+PSU for $150+shipping

Despite initial interest my better judgement says I have to bow out of this one. I've saved up recently and can just about afford Zraffleticket01's Rigel 5 and some more safety glasses. This HeNe would have me beat... And it might not make it over the pond intact, so I'm out.
