Soft Feel Tactile Button Boards

These are premium tactile switches for adding a pushbutton switch to
pen builds or anything else needing a high quality contact. They are
a sealed design featuring a pure silicone button. They have a
distinct feel and give a different impression from the standard pen
switch. They are rated 100mA, which is twice that found in all
Chinese pens. I have tested them at up to 500mA and they seem to
work fine no problem. The one in my DX pen is still going strong
after over a year of regular use. Remember, they do have a preferred
polarity, as marked on the boards.

Buying in bulk lowers the price of each individual piece!

And now by popular demand, we are offering just the bare switches.
They make great replacements for worn out buttons in pen lasers.
The footprint is slightly different, but a little solder blob takes care
of that.

Fluorescence Kits

This is our kit of objects which will fluoresce upon exposure to shorter wavelengths. Some
will even continue to glow after the light source is removed. They work best with
365-405nm, 445nm-450nm, and 473-488nm. Some of them even work very very well at
532nm! Objects and shapes may vary from plastic to specially dyed fabrics & paper. Price
includes shipping.

Re: FS: Fun With Fluorescence Kit

i suggest labeling each swab and putting the paint on more evenly.once you do that .the science supply stores may be interested in selling them for you as kits.good luck with your sales.they may make great night time shooting targets also.

Hey, whose got ideas!? I have this switch(press button momentary) in a copper host. The metal "spacer button" will not stick to the blue rubber switch button. I've tried metal epoxy, plastic epoxy, a combination of both, nothing adheres to the rubber.
My next thought was to scuff it gently with a burr bit, clean it with alcohol on a q-tip and try epoxying it again. The buyer won't settle for anything other than a metal button.

Yes, they are high grade silicone. Nothing
is going to stick to that!

The buttons on most hosts are "captive".
What that means is, the button has an
enlarged diameter at the bottom that is
wider than the hole. Then switch then
pushes up on it from below, holding it in
place. Here is a diagram.

The only thing I can suggest if you don't
have the capability to make a new button is
to glue something to the bottom of the
button to keep it from falling out.

Ya.. I figured a button with a flange would have to be used of course AFTER I had built the pill. Ahh I donno what I'm going to do. Some type of clear plastic might be used to cover the button.

The buy buttons will show the prices.

It's more like an "add to cart" button than a
buy button, but that is what they give us.

You got any of the super mini 20-100mA drivers yet? I want some for a few builds. I feel this would be perfect for the Osram PL450!
