Exactly, and honestly, I don't think you're going to sell a laser with a blown diode for 35 bucks. You might be able to sell the box laser since it's working fine, but since you have -8 rep I doubt anyone is going to take any chances in dealing with you.
BTW, why are you selling the broken laser for 35 and the box for 30, I thought you said the box was working fine. :-?

Wish it was $4 a gallon here in the UK. I filled up earlier today and it works out at approx $8 gallon here.
No wonder they call it "Rip Off Britain." They worked out on average we pay 30% more for stuff here.

I've noticed that you can buy a 20x dvd writer in the USA for 24$ here the cheapest I've found is $48

it makes me mad because there's no reason why we should be paying so much more for stuff.
Anyone got a spare room? I want to emigrate. [smiley=angry.gif]

well the box is not as powerful and i just need money, and i cant find a job around my town,as i have to be 16 to get one over here

Ok, but the MXDL laser is worth less than 35 bucks. The MXDL costs 12 bucks I believe, plus the parts for the dirver and the aixiz module it comes to an extra 10 bucks, so the MXDL should be worth between 20 - 25 bucks. IMO

BTW, did you drop the box laser or something? The sticker looks all scratched up.

yeah i guess its just the diode.
if i cant sell it, i just need a new didoe. i did drop the box laser once,adn the sticker was like that when i bought it. does anybody know where i can get a high powered diode for less than 20 $ ?

correct me if I am wrong and I have a feeling I am but wasn't the MXDL supplying 420mA to the LD? won't that kill a senkat diode? yet again I could be wrong. :-/

People build a DDL circuit which is put into the MXDL and is powered by two rechargeable CR123 batteries.

That isnt an MXDL.... it is in a diffderent host. My guess is it is like mine from Jake21, it is built with a driver putting out 250ma of current for around 160mw output power(assuming acrylic lens). One of Senkat's diodes will work just fine in it. The 420ma MXDL's are being built(quite well) by Jayrob.

BTW, my laser from Jake(In the short MXDL host) is still going strong:D

Oh, I didn't notice it wasn't a MXDL. :-[

EDIT: Wes, what was the duty cycle on the laser you got from Jake? Maybe you blew your diode by leaving the laser on for too long.
Also, did Jake tell you how much current the driver in the flashlight was putting out? What kind of diode did he put in the flashlight?

it has a very nice heat sink, and he told me 2 mins on 1 min off, i only used it for 1 min at a time
