Alright, I'm having to remove this ad because I continue to get negative feedback for a previous thread. I don't want to end up banned from this forum and be unable to remove this post.

It doesn't look like this will sell anyways. I suppose I'll keep it. I'm done with this forum after the way I was treated by the members here. I was in the right in my previous thread. You don't track mud into someone's home and then get angry when they tell you to take your shoes off. And that's exactly what you folks did to my thread.

You might want to add in a picture with a piece of paper, on it please write your LPF name and todays date. This is a standard requirement for selling on here.

If you change your mind about selling the items separately I'll give you $25 for the goggles.

You might want to also think about the price... this is a single mode, non focusable, non LPMed laser. Batteries and charger, and goggles add ~$40 in value at most. $210 is a very high asking price.

Good luck with the sale.

Hmm...thanks for the response. If I'm asking too much, then I guess I paid WAY too much.

If you bought it over a year ago, you didn't overpay.

The problem is in many ways lasers are worse in holding their value than cars. This is a very common laser which can be had brand new for $255 shipped. Granted without the batteries/charger/goggles.

Another big factor that's working against you is that you can't LPM the laser, or really offer warranty - this is normal, but doesn't help your situation. Anyone buying it, is essentially taking a guess as to whether it will work perfectly (very likely) or be underpowered(also very likely), or there could be other issues.

Many people on here are capable of building similarly powerful lasers for ~$100, minus the labor of course.

Going back to the car analogy, selling on here, you're basically dealing with mechanics who work on a used car lot...

Anyway, I've wanted one of these for a pretty long time. I can't pay you today, but I'll take it off your hands for $150 on friday. $175 for the whole package.

Also in addition to posting a picture with your LPF name and date, it might help you a lot to post a short video... of burning through a CD case. It's not exactly scientific, but it would help to show the laser is still close to spec, and hopefully get you better offers.
