I know a lot of people already know that I make these lasers but I did a search and found that I never posted it in the BST section. So anyone that doesn't know, I sell these lasers!!  I have a few lasers already made and will make more if there's enough demand. Oh yeah forgot to mention, on [link=http://www.hightechdealz.com/]my website[/link] this is the July 4th sale price. After the 4th my website sale will end but I'll honor this price after wards for LPF peoples, so just post here and you'll get it for $59.97 :)

Here's some specs on the laser:
wavelength: ~650nm
power: <200mW (probably 175-200mW) , uses a 16x sony DVD burner laser diode (model #SLD1236VL)
current: ~300mA
takes CR123 batteries (included)
easy to focus laser with focusing knob on the front. just twist clockwise or counter clockwise
push button for continuous on/off

Hey Sk8tr.. . I don't know if this is the proper area for this question but here goes:
I've bought two lasers from your website about 2 months ago, (1 x Maglight; 1 x Dorcy Jr.) It took some time, but I finally received one of them (Maglight) but I was never sent the Dorcy Jr. A friend Lorrell had used her Google pay and charged for both w/ shipping (I don't have a Google account and she had one ready).
I will try to find the box with the shipping number or the invoice so i can maybe confirm the info with you, however the address which it was suppose to be shipped to was:
1820 W. Valley Blvd.
Alhambra, Ca
91803
I don't know what had happened,  and I know you have my correct address cause i got one of them. Oh and i tried to bring this to your attention prior to this post, however you didn't respond to my email thru your website's "contact".
Please let me know what happened, and if possible, get partial credit on another laser (interested in your new "Blu-Ray Dorcy Jr.")
If there's any information you might need, just let me know (however it wasn't my Google account).
Any info/help would be great, thanks.

I refunded your payment for the Dorcy. I remember Lorrell, he / she had ordered the Dorcy w/ aluminum heat sink and I didn't have the heat sinks in at the time. I have them now if you'd like to order again. Check the google checkout payments and you'll see that the payment was refunded.

You might want to lower you price a bit so its not to much over the dx red.

The materials for this laser alone are $45, and my shipping times are 20 times better than DX ( next day shipped compared to ~3 weeks) so I'm not too worried about that..

If all you are looking for is the lowest price, go with the Dilda.

most of your questions are answered [link=www.hightechdealz.com]here[/link], but Yes I ship to the UK for free. I accept paypal and google checkout and money order / cashiers check. I don't make green lasers, read [link=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laser_pointer]this under Green Lasers[/link] to understand why I don't make green lasers. I've had my laser diodes tested before and already know the results. [link=http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1208708105/0#0] here they are[/link].

If you want a cheap, slow to be shipped build that is less than half the output stated, then by all means buy a DX200.

If you want a quality laser, shipped next day, that is what it says it is, then buy this.

If you want a cheap, slow to be shipped build that is less than half the output stated, then by all means buy a DX200.

If you want a quality laser, shipped next day, that is what it says it is, then buy this.

You're right about the DX 200 being slow shipped, but I don't think I've read one case where the output was less than half of 200mW. They are usually all around 160mW-210mW according to all of the users who did power tests.
