Money has never been more tight and I'm having to part with things I wouldn't ordinarily part with. THIS IS SOLD!

Today, it's a Dell Inspiron 9200.  System specs as follows
Intel 2.0ghz
2Gb Crucial tech. pc2700 Ram
60 Gb HDD
Internal Wifi.
4 usb ports.
1394 and sd port.
DVI port on back for external video.
17" Lcd display. no dead pixels.
ATI modility 9700 w/ 128mb ram.
Windows xp professional not cracked or pirated.
Office 2007 not cracked or pirated.

all reasonable offers entertained.  I'd like to see $400 for this but understand it's a little old (not much) and may not see that.

Have you considered posting an ad on craigslist? You could potentially exceed even your modest price expectations.

dude, I live in montana. Nobody lives in montana cept unibombers and wako types. Listing it there would be like putting a note in a bottle and hoping to see lots of responses from the fish.

Re: FS: Dell inspiron 9200

Sadly, I'm not sure about 400 for it these days.

Gateway M-6862 Notebook Specs:

-Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor T5750
2 MB L2 Cache | 2.0 GHz | 667 MHz FSB
-15.4-inch Ultrabright™ WXGA TFT display (1280 × 800)
-4096 MB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM (2 × 2048)
Operates at 667 MHz
-ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 2600 XT PCI Express Graphics
512 MB GDDR3 Dedicated Memory
-1.3 Megapixel Built In Webcam
-High definition audio - 2 channel audio
-250 GB 5400 RPM SATA hard drive
-8X Multi-Format Dual Layer DVDRW with DVD-RAM and Labelflash
-10/100 Ethernet LAN
802.11n Wireless LAN
-5-in-1 Memory Card Reader
-3 USB ports, 1 HDMI port, 1 VGA port
-6-cell Lithium-ion batter

(Basically it plays Fallout 3/Assassin's Creed/Bioshock/etc. very well)

I picked that up at Best Buy about 10 months ago for 679.99.

It is still a dell laptop though, and very solid. I used to work on computers and have worked on roughly that model of dell before and they are pretty nice. I can guarantee it is worth at least 300, and performs very well for only having a 2ghz processor.

Re: FS: Dell inspiron 9200

well, the few that I've watched on ebay go for roughly $500-$600 depending on condition. This one is in wonderful condition. However it's individual preferences that determine value.

That and your comparing a 17" to a 15.4" Not that I'm saying your interpretation is incorrect. :D

Re: FS: Dell inspiron 9200

Honestly I would love to see you pull in 400 bucks for that.

And in regards to a smaller 15.4 inch screen, my laptop has an hdmi out to hook up to my 46" Panasonic 1080p plasma ;D

Good luck selling it though man, and sorry if my comments bothered you, they were not meant to.

Re: FS: Dell inspiron 9200

Oh I never said that your statement was bothering me or offensive. Certainly far from it. I was just stating that just because you don't see that much value in this particular laptop, does not mean that someone else won't.

Re: FS: Dell inspiron 9200

Yes, and if you look at it like that, a well taken care of Dell, with all the hardware still functioning as it should (not to mention you doubled or tripled the memory on it, which im sure cost more back when you did it) really isn't worth less than 400. Not to mention it has a rare official copy of office, unlike my computers  ;D

So come on guys, make Ken some offers. You know he takes care of his stuff. And if you buy it...Dude! You're getting a Dell!  ;)

Sorry Kenom, I can't throw an offer, I'd say between US$350.00 and US$450.00. The original software is the main selling point here IMHO.

Congrats on selling the lappy toppy, Ken  ;)

And I just checked on ebay and someone is selling one of these for 400 with 30 bucks shipping. But none of the USB ports work on it and the hibernate function does not...well...function, lol.

So whoever bought Ken's perfectly working laptop, you got a great deal. Enjoy it  :)
