I can't really tell. It could be either.

PS. I know what you mean. I keep bugging Ehgemus to stop posting such tiny photos. His hosts are so beautiful, but the photos are almost thumbnail sized. 320px wide? Come on, we're not on dial-up ;)

I'm on an iPad most of the time so the pictures look fine to me, I try to make them bigger from now on.

The switches are plastic. I have had very few problems with these switches and have been using them for over 5 year.
I will try to fine some metal switches for some future builds.

Pretty sure that's the standard plastic clicky as used on all three of the hosts I have.

Edit...sorry just noticed Ehgemus has already responded.

I believe Ehgemus once told me that he mainly uses LPF on his iPad, where it probably looks pretty good on. I agree that they could easily be 2 to 3 times bigger yeah.

I really like the 4th host from left to right, though I'd need one that fits two 18650's. I'll PM you about it somewhere in July, Ehgemus. First gotta save up for one of those 1W 520nm diodes.

Edit: Seems like I took too long to reply, Ehgemus already explained it. Oh well.

The case doesn't fit 2 18350s. 2 18340s fit in it though.

I found that 2 x 18350 protected batteries were too long for the 18650 host whilst unprotected were just fine.

You're correct. It seems I did order the protected 18350. I was unware of the size difference.
