This host holds 2x18650 batteries and a full 12x30mm laser module. This will be a great host for the 6W diode because it has a larger heatsink, 1-5/8" dia. Also has a driver heatsink witch you need for that diode. Host is 10-5/8" long. Clicky switch in back and a side momentary switch. The handle is real carbon fiber not a vinyl wrap like some of my other hosts. The host is wired and ready to build. Build time should be about 20min with this host. Thanks

Up for sale is a pretty unique looking host, kind of has a ray gun look to it. It holds 1x18650 battery or 2x18350 batteries. There is a switch in the back tail cap that almost looks like it's not there but it is for added safety on higher power builds. Host is pre wired and ready to build.
Host has a place to heatsink the driver, pictures below show how the host comes apart. Side switch is momentary. Host dimensions are 1-5/8" dia heatsink and length of the host is 9" long.

This picture shows the driver heat sink. It is a half Moon piece of aluminum and your driver gets glued to it than the half Moon aluminum piece gets glued into the tube .

I like it, I just bought the other one he made and now I see this with a slightly bigger head on it... I like my laser pointers to have massive heat sink heads.

I have wondered for some time where the line is between heat-sink cooling and diminishing return.

One of the nice things about Egemus hosts is he has great heat coupling from the head to the body of the host, so the whole handle becomes a heat sink too, sometimes without any seam between the head and the body. That's great work, it really increases the amount of surface area for the heat to transfer to the air with, but for the higher power laser diodes coming out now, I think the heat sink fins need to be deeper.

I've never had a problem with any of the hosts this man has made, I have lots of them now and they all work great but I have a great affinity for deep heat sink fins When I see one of his hosts with deep heat sink fins, I see the word BUY written all over it every time! This last host, photo above, has a nice balance of mass to heat sink fins, very nice.
