Re: FS: Collection HUGE PRICE DROPS

Sorry for the delay ~

I asked the lady at the post office to have it insured for $200 and I was told that was fine. If it's not covering the full value I'll take it out of pocket if it doesn't arrive/arrives busted :/

"The more you know" I guess...

__

Regarding the 589, I can re-LPM that in a bit. Lemme fire up the desktop computer

__

635 taken.

___________

Edit:

Man, that 589 is not working nearly as well as it had in the past...

Lowered price a bit since it's not performing as well... Also because I need the money... still in a hole a bit

Man I really wish I had money... I have terrible luck. Would offer the herc for one, but if you're leaving the hobby, a trade is kinda pointless. Wonder how it would go putting the 589 crystals in the herc host. o_O

My offer still stands to fix them if someone opts to do that. Sadly the yellows do deteriorate with time a bit.

I appreciate the reply and thanks for the kind gesture :gj:

I sincerely hope it doesn't come to that though, it would be such a shame to lose a laser like this, especially one as well travelled as this particular Rigel. I won't start worrying proper until the end of next week and if it gets towards a month with no sign we'll have to start thinking the worst. Long way off yet...

I do have a question though, more a curiosity if anything else-

you mentioned in your review thread for the Rigel that you bought it off "eytyxhs" 2 months prior.

Sure enough, I found his FS thread here, although it's a fair bit more than 2 months prior to your review thread.

During the thread it appears he had a lot of PMs regarding the Rigel (I'm unsurprised, these things seem to disappear very quickly) and all in all the sale was done in a very hush hush manner. The thing that makes me curious is this- you did not make an appearance in the thread but it would appear a member "tonyt" was making all kinds of posts towards the end of the thread that indicates he bought both lasers? Now, I know he was a shady character and ended up banned - but I'm curious as to what went on there? Did tonyt indeed acquire both lasers and sell one back to you, or was he talking out of his hat?

It's a mystery for sure - one I am interested to solve as it will probably help me complete the "history" of this laser, which I have as follows:-
-Sent from CNI to LaserGlow and rebranded as a Rigel-5
-Purchased by eytyxhs in 2011
-sent to Lazeerer to be polished
-Sold in 2013 possibly to yourself (or someone else, then onto you)
-Sent to Lazeerer to be polished
-Sold to me February 2014

That's one well travelled laser :D and it'd be good to clarify that last little part of its history.

Re: FS: Collection HUGE PRICE DROPS

Nah, I never had it sent to lazereer myself. He only offered it to me.

Eytyxhs never did sell it the first time around... at least I dont think TonyT got it.

__

As per the 589, This sale isn't going to be put to a stop on my end, so your only time limit is the other members' wallets :p

Also open to offers/other trades, just non-laser since I'll be trading what to sell--

PM sent on all three 589, 561, and 473 handhelds. Let's talk, maybe a package deal?

Re: FS: Collection HUGE PRICE DROPS

I didn't see Mr. kaiser's post about wanting the 589, I will defer to him. I am still interested in the 561 and 473. Can you post some LPM readings on these two?

Re: FS: Collection HUGE PRICE DROPS

Dunno about fireworks. I had an incident with them a few years ago and i'm frankly terrified of them.

Managed to get it on video too.

And yes, LPM readings coming in a second.
