Default FS: **CLOSED** 220mW 6X Laser

THIS THREAD IS CLOSED

I've got several things you might be interested in. Prices include domestic (US) shipping. International shipping will be additional.

PULLED FOR MORE RESEARCH 1) First up I have seven (7) O-Like Bluray drivers. I bought these to make pointers, but they do not fit my requirements. I was looking for the "boost" the website implies, but found they operate a bit different than a normal boost driver. They are fine for what they are, but won't do what I need. If you are looking to make a low powered pointer (<70mW), they will operate off of 3V nicely. If however, you are looking to get >100mW, you will have to give them >4.5V. This is not a problem if your host can carry a battery configuration to power it. They are $10 each. This is $2 less than O-Likes price (with shipping) and they will ship promptly from the US.

405nm blu-ray diode driver£*>405nm blue-violet laser£*>Laser&lighting products£*>www.0-like.com

SOLD 2) Second, I have a little 7mW, 650nm module in an aiXiz. It takes 3-5V. It is focusable, but not adjustable for output. It is $5

SOLD 3) Third, is the last Long Closed Can pressed into an aiXiz. It has leads attached so you just need your driver, battery, & heat sink. It is $15

SOLD 4) Fourth, as I was clearing out stuff, I found a full red laser module. It has a Long Closed Can diode and a fixed Rkcstr driver. It is putting out >230mW. You will just need a battery and a heat sink for this one. It will take 5.5V-12V. It is $30

SOLD 5) Fifth, I have a black, rubberized, Newwish style green pointer. It is powered by two AAA batteries. It is putting out 28mW. It has the "star pattern show" tip on it. The Star tip is removable so you can use the laser as a normal pointer when you want to. It is $20.

**SOLD** 6) Sixth, I have a 6X based hand held laser. It has a GGW diode and a flexdrive. It is housed in an Cree, MX Power host. It is powerd by a single CR123 size battery. It has a tail cap, clicky switch. You can use a primary or a rechargeable battery. It comes with a storage/carrying case. You can get it with the standard aiXiz acrylic lens or the Jayrob 405-G-1 low loss lens. With the standard lens it is putting out 180mW. With the Jayrob lens it is putting out 220mW. It is $180 $160 with the acrylic lens. It is $240 $220 with the Jayrob lens.

SOLD
7) Finally, I have a Laserbee-I with data logging. I bought this from a member here and sent it back to Lasersbee to have it checked out. Lasersbee refurbished and re-calibrated the LPM. It comes with the data logging interface and the data logging software on disc. It is $180.

As always the earlier PM gets it and I do entertain legitimate offers and consider trades.

Peace,
dave

I'll set one up with 4.5V and see if it will do 180mA at that voltage. I'll get back with you here.

Peace,

These are even weirder than I first imagined. At 4.5V, I initially get it up to about 150mA. Then, as it warms up, the current rises. It gets up to 175mA after ~ 40 seconds. I wouldn't run these anywhere near the upper limit of the diode. It is libel to climb into dangerous territory if you begin too close to the upper limit.

I may end up using them for low powered pointers anyway, eh?

Peace,
dave

I don't see any additional problems with using them. If we set it at 100mA, I would just expect that after 40 seconds it would be up around 120mA.
