FS Aurora Cree C6 1w 445nm sold

Well I have one of these handy dandy 1w cree host 445 lasers. It uses the famous 445nm diode from a certain projector along with a buck driver. Ive had it for a few months now but its always put up and never getting used so I figured someone else could use it more than I do. Plus after some jerk got their grubby fingers on my debit card number I am in serious need of some money. So I have decided to sell this wonderful laser. I have used it for maybe a total of 15-20 mins,never running it longer than 45 sec at a time (despite a copper heatsink).

For this sale you get the laser, standard aixis glass lens, 2 disposable 3v cr123 batteries and 2 pair of the cheaper safety glasses. Ive had no problems with the glasses I just wouldnt feel confident staring at a dot that is 1in away with em. Ill get some pix up here in a bit when I can find some batteries for my camera, however it is one of the generic aurora cree hosts that can use either 2x cr123s for 1w or 1x 18650 for roughly 200mw output. I feel that $135 (OBO) isnt too unreasonable for this.

Here are some beamshots. Beware the quality of a cellphone camera! No fog was used in any shots, the first few are from a snow storm a few months back. The green around the focus ring is a ghetto focus ring made from 2 tail caps. Works great to avoid burnt fingertips and locks the focus in place if slid down a little. Never had it on an LPM but its using the common buckdriver used in these hosts by many.







The glasses have some scratches but no major scuffs. These are the standard cheap set that are common. They work alright just dont try staring at the dot at a close range with these.


I also have another host, driver (buck), and aluminum heatsink for sale. All you need for a complete laser is 1 445 diode, aixiz module and a bit of soldering. Just need to solder the driver in the pill and diode to the driver. I think $35 + shipping isnt too bad for this.
