I got $190 + S&H for my G2. Which seems to be in line as I had a few interested. Incl safetyglasses abd excl the extra lens kit. Remember that WL sold the arctic at $200 in the beginning, and when first introduced with some additional rebate.

That's ^^ about average for an Arctic sale on this forum, Ravers.

As others suggested, try ebay. Sometimes they go off for what you are looking for. ;)

Isn't handheld lasers over 5mW banned from being listed on the bay?

The Arctic Spyder is the only FDA-approved 1W 445nm laser supposedly. I suppose because of the smart switch and the manual interlock disable.

I guess that makes it an exception.

Supposedly is the right word.

The arctic is NOT FDA approved. It was submitted for approval, but approval was never granted.

Any diy or laser bought on here will be exactly as legal as the arctic. Which is to say it's not.

It would help if you told if goggles do anything at blocking 445 nm or not.

Yes, you're only aloud to sell 5mW lasers and sown on Ebay :(( I tried to sell my 1W blue laser and got a $225 bid than it got taken down and I lost my sale one day before the auction closed because Ebay took it down!

Yea ebay watches those 1W's pretty closely. I guess they believe that WL is FDA approved then... <shrug>
