FS: AMC7135 Drivers!

I've got some AMC7135 boards for those who are interested in them.

These just have 1 AMC7135 chip on the board.
Each of these chips put out ~350mA from a single lithium battery with a voltage drop of 0.12v
This means you can drive your 635nm diodes from a single lithium with these IC's
You should be able to stack up to two drivers onto a single diode.

You can also wire them up manually and position them on your heat sink around the diode if your wanting 3 chips to get around 1A.

There is room for improvement on these boards and will probably go with a newer version with more IC's per board sometime in mid December.

i'm just selling these for $2ea to cover cost of parts and time. This does not include shipping which is $2 on all orders so this would be something good to add if you were already planning on buying something from me.

Really good deal, interesting that the diode and battery + is the same, i've never seen that before.

these ones, only until they sell out. I'm going to go for a different design on the next batch.
 
dealextreme are selling those as 10-pack.. $17.. pretty cheap though..

It's that his are smaller, and from USA. Like he said, it's good if you were already buying something from him, and want to just add one for $2. Easier than getting a 10pack for most people. Of course if you wanted to DIY, you can get a much better deal - just buy the single chips for aruond $0.50 a piece (I'm sure you can find cheaper than that though, if you search longer).
 
Now i get your point.. Mohr's are smaller, and maybe better because from USA ? :S

Well it's not that purchasing from the USA is better in terms of quality in this case, since the chips were most likely bought from China. But plenty of people on the forums buy from sellers in the US because they don't want to wait for long shipping times. I never do, because I'd rather wait longer for it a little cheaper, but plenty of people do. That's why there are so many LPF sellers with items like chargers, batteries, etc.

If you don't mind Moh, I was just wondering - can a single, cheap 18650 deliver 700mA using two parallel AMC7135 chips to a mitsu 635nm? I haven't kept up too much in the threads, but I thought it wasn't very safe when people connected a AMC7135 to a LOC, so why would it be better for a 635nm? Also, do you recommend adding any capacitors to the input and/or the output (I have SMD capacitors), or would that mess with the circuit?

Now I remember the whole, insulating the LOC from the host. Man, I got to go back and build some more lasers, it's been a few months. XP

The host of the Aurora C6 is anodized aluminium. The heatsink isn't electrically connected but it does thermally. That's why I loved the C6 host.
