Re: FS: items added 7/1--M140 445nm diodes

Are these the M140s that hit over 2 watts on DTRs site? What's the divergence like on these compared to the Nichia NDB7875? I have a 5.6mm module laying around that I need to make use of. I will definitely take one of the phosphor rings.

The very same :) the divergence isn't great, but it's better than the 7875's. I'll send you a pm when I get home.

Re: FS:price drop--M140 445nm diodes

I do! I just need to sell some before I can afford to buy more diodes. I've got 3 or 4 small ~2 watt 445nm, 1 250mW 520nm, and a ~1 watt 638nm that I need to sell first. The only one I'm keeping is my ~1 watt 405nm in custom Ehgemus host. If I can sell some, I'll definitely buy some of these off you.

There is no better day than the current! Do you have a decent soldering iron? If so, you can build your own very easily. I bet you could put together a 1.5+ watt 445nm laser for $100 or less. I'll help you if you need a little guidance to get started.

Re: FS:price drop--M140 445nm diodes

We need to flood youtube with laser videos to get more people interested like what happened a while ago when kipkay was getting people to blindly buy lasers while others looked for cheaper ways to get one and in turn look to building as an option :)
