Well as most of your know when the technology moves ahead, my experiments move with it.
So up for sale is my "stash" of 8X sleds.
These are from the LG BH08 burner.
They are the complete sled (including the flat red diode).
They were harvested and have been stored with complete ESD precautions.

I can ship the day after funding is transferred.
They are $120 $110, shipped in the continental US.
Add $5 for international shipping.
I have five four of them available.

Dave, gotta wait again here for fundage flow but, once again, I am _certainly_ interested -- The diodes in these sleds, specs on them similar to what was charted in the 8x thread? (~400mW @ 300mA?)

They are the same diodes so, Yes. The diodes reported on in the 8X thread came from both these sleds (LG BH08) and the Pioneer BDR-203 sleds.

In the chart below (from the 8X diodes thread), You can see how many of them came from these LG BH08 sleds (diode source).

Ok, got it, cool. Aiming for 400mW/300mA so this looks about right. Expect a PM then in the coming week or so for one of these; I've actually got my 445 fix for the time being. Been studying Mohrenberg's video on removal/harvesting and I think I'm ready to go at this.

Does he have a video for harvesting these sleds? Removing the diode in its heat sink from these sleds is really a destructive process.

If you want, when you buy one of these, I can harvest the heat sink and or diode for you. Alternatively, I can walk you through it the first time.
