Hi Wesdaman14,
I wouldnt be able to say. I only tested at around 30cm UNfocused, took about 5 seconds to light. However they are focusable, although im not too sure on the actual distance they would be able to burn at. Diachi said he would try measure the 1W one i sent him (The one in the vids:))

appealing......but the "required" $75 purchase of goggles ruins the whole thread.

Well you really do need the goggles for these kind of powers of IR. I've been using the 1W all day, and I really don't feel safe without goggles, even though I've been using the camera to view it.

Sorry Matt, The $75 IS NOT mandatory, its a choice :D I meant, if you would like goggle at $75 then they need to be purchased along with the laser otherwise they will incur a shipping fee alone. Ill fix that right away!

The goggles cost me $73.5usd per pair PLUS $23usd shipping per pair, thats why i said its better to buy them with the laser. I have asked my supplier to make them cheaper, but they wont :(

Welcome to the forums, look around, read up on some stuff and post "good" posts until you can PM me for payment options etc. Dont spam for the post count though, it makes people angry :D
